Its been quite a while since I have posted some cool fingernail art so when I was browsing reddit and came across this amazing Star Trek: The Next Generation fingernail art, I knew I had to post about it!  I’ve always preferred the Deep Space Nine uniforms but I think these actually look better as fingernail art than DS9 uniforms would.  However, I’d still like to see some DS9 fingernail art if anybody out there is up to the challenge.  But, until somebody does that, lets talk about this awesome TNG fingernail art!

This amazing Star Trek: The Next Generation uniform nail art was done by reddit user feelslikeawoman.  While I think she did a heck of a job with this nail art, I think I am most impressed by the fact that those are real nails rather than fake ones.  I think she must have hit the genetic fingernail lottery!  I can’t say that long nails are my thing but I can certainly appreciate how rare it is for somebody to be able to have natural nails that can get that long.

There seem to be a lot of fans of the Thief games out there but I can’t say that I am one of them.  I have never tried the games or even payed much attention to them.  However, after seeing last week’s review of the latest Thief game by Zero Punctuation, I may go check out the older Thief games and likely skip the latest one.  The old games are only $7 on Steam which is quite reasonable although I will probably still wait for a sale because I’m cheap and have a bunch of other games I need to play anyway.  On an unrelated note, I finished Assassin’s Creed: Liberation on the Vita last night and it is great.  I’d say it is definitely a must play for Vita owners.  And now back to Thief…

This stunning female Thief cosplay was created by Lyz Brickley Cosplay and photographed by Darshelle Stevens.  While I am not terribly familiar with the games, I’d say this is still some amazing cosplay!  She definitely looks like she means business!

I always enjoy seeing people take their cosplay in a slightly different direction than just the typical recreation.  While I do enjoy seeing people go to incredible lengths to recreate a character down to the finest detail, its nice to see them do something a little more original every once in a while like this sweet warrior Princess Peach cosplay.

This badass warrior Princess Peach cosplay was done by cosplayer Alexia Jean Grey who looks like she is definitely ready to go into battle.  With the exception of the corset which was made by Castle Corsetry, she apparently made the rest of the costume herself and I’d say she did a heck of a job!  I’m really curious to know just how long it took her to make this costume because there is quite a bit of detail to it with all of the jewels, mushrooms and such.

While I am impressed with the whole costume, I especially like the warp pipes on the sword as that seems really clever.  I’d follow her into battle any day!

I don’t watch Star Trek: The Next Generation as often as I should as at most I will watch 2 or 3 episodes a week when it is on BBC America on Saturday afternoons, but I still love the show (DS9 is my favorite) and Geordi La Forge is definitely one of my favorite characters.  Knowing how popular he is and how iconic his VISOR has become, I had a feeling you guys would flip out over this awesome Geordi La Forge VISOR ring I stumbled across yesterday.

Etsy seller is selling this fantastic TNG inspired Geordi La Forge VISOR ring for just $69.99!  The ring is made of sterling silver with 24K gold plated accents and apparently it is made using some sort of 3D printing technology.

However, if dollars isn’t how you want to pay, the seller also accepts Bitcoin and offers a 5% discount when paying with it.  Normally I probably wouldn’t mention something like that but this is the first time I have ever seen an Etsy seller accept Bitcoin as payment.

If you are looking for a new ring and you happen to be a big Star Trek: TNG fan, then this is the ring you have been looking for!

I’ve spent a fair bit of my free time lately playing Assassin’s Creed: Liberation on the PlayStation Vita and while it feels a bit stripped down simply because it seems to do nothing to really forward the overall Assassin’s Creed story and is just about the gameplay, I am still really enjoying it.  It was definitely worth the $14 or whatever I paid for it on sale on the PlayStation Network store a couple of weeks ago.  If you are an Assassin’s Creed fan and have a Vita, I highly recommend picking it up.

Speaking of Assassin’s Creed, as soon as I finish Liberation, I plan on jumping right into Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and after seeing this amazing Edward Kenway cosplay from the game, I am really excited to play it!

Cosplayer LeonChiroCosplayArt is the man behind this incredible Edward Kenway cosplay and Marcella Fava Nerd Photographer is the person responsible for this beautiful photography.

I wish I had the costume making skills of this guy just because I think I would look like a total badass wearing something like that around town all the time.

I have a rather nice little collection of Game Boys as I had a bit of an obsession with them as a kid (my Tetris addiction probably didn’t help) but if there is one thing I don’t have in my collection and would die to have in my collection, it would be a giant wearable Game Boy that is playable and uses giant Game Boy cartridges.

I’m not sure who this awesome guy is or where he was spotted (if you know, please let me know in the comments below so I can give him the credit he definitely deserves), but a few days ago on reddit I came across these pictures of a guy sporting some epic Game Boy cosplay that is actually playable!

I’m not sure just how many games this guy has for people to play on his huge Game Boy costume, but I at least know there is Tetris, Dr. Mario and Donkey Kong Land judging by the second picture with another guy holding up two of the giant cartridges.

And while you can play this giant Game Boy, I’m not sure how practical it is given the size of the controls, especially for a game like Tetris.  The back-lit screen is also a bit of an authenticity killer but it does make it look better than the picture where the back-lit doesn’t seem to be turned on so I can live with it.  Back-lit or not, this Game Boy costume is epic!  Whoever this guy is, he is my hero!

Ever since I was a kid, I have had a big love for Peter Pan and that fantasy universe.  I remember watching the Disney cartoon over and over again as a kid and these days I will watch the classic Hook movie with Robin Williams whenever I see it on TV.  It seems like love for Neverland has fallen off in recent years because I remember seeing lots of Peter Pan and Hook costumes when I was a kid (I remember even having one of the hook hand toys when I was a kid) and you never see them these days.

Well, it looks like there is at least one other fan still out there judging by this awesome steampunk Tinkerbell cosplay.

Sadly, I don’t know who this awesome Tinkerbell cosplayer is, who took this picture or what con this was at but I think this cosplay is great!  If you know who this girl is or who took the picture, please let us know in the comments below so we can give them the credit they deserve!

I hope Hook is still on Netflix because now I am in the mood to watch it for the millionth time.

I’m starting to think that I am going to have to find a second job soon to be able to afford building an addition on to my house just to house all of my Doctor Who shirts and days like today where there are two fantstic Who tees on sale aren’t helping matters any!  I have already filled up my closet and have a stack of t-shirts that reaches to my ceiling so I am to the point that I could go for months without doing laundry thanks to these t-shirt sales but when there are awesome shirts like these, I can’t help but buy them!  Perhaps I need to check myself into t-shirt addicts anonymous.  However, that won’t be today because I feel the need to own both of these shirts and I think you should too!

The awesome folks at TeeFury are doing another one of their Twofury sales where they put two shirts in competition with each other for the day and see which one sells the most.  Today, they are selling two awesome Doctor Who shirts, one called ‘See You In Our Dreams’ by Joshmirm and the other called Bad Wolf by artist zerobraint for just $11 today only!  And yes, that is an affiliate link so we get credit for sending you to them which is how we can afford to keep things running here at Fanboy Fashion.

Whether you are a fan of the 10th Doctor or Rose Tyler, you will love these shirts and of course they both have the TARDIS on them because no Doctor Who shirt would be complete without it.

Which one will you be buying or will you buy both?  Bad Wolf is currently winning as of the time I am writing this but I have no doubt the Tennant fans can pull though and claim victory for the other shirt if they really want to show their love for the 10th Doctor.

Even though the game has been a big deal for around a decade now, I have still managed to avoid playing World of Warcraft.  Having watched people play the game, I would consider playing it if it wasn’t for two things.  First, I’ve seen what WoW addiction can do to people (one of my former roommates was a WoW addict) and second is that I refuse to pay a subscription fee for a game.  No matter how much I want to play a game *cough* Elder Scrolls Online *cough*, I will NEVER pay a subscription fee to play a game.

Anyway, even if I have never played the game, I can still appreciate the great cosplay!

In the past, I have featured some incredible World of Warcraft cosplay including some impressive Sally Whitemane cosplay and some amazing Blood Elf cosplay among others.  To see all of the great WoW cosplay posts I have made, just search for World of Warcraft cosplay in the search box on the right.  As for today’s post…

This amazing WoW Alexstrasza cosplay was made by Oshley Cosplay (Ashley).  The costume took her 4 months to make but what is really impressive is that this Alexstrasza the Lifebinder is her first attempt at cosplay!  For a first attempt, I’d say she did one heck of a fantastic job!

Being a guy, I’m not one to wear anything in my hair (it would be pointless anyway as my hair is too short and I wear a hat all the time) but if there are any cool ladies out there that want to sport some Legend of Zelda love in their hair, I think I have found the perfect hair bow for you!

Etsy seller is selling these awesome Legend of Zelda inspired char hair bows that she makes for just $21.50.  That seems like a very reasonable price for a green bow with a Triforce on it and some rupees and a Master Sword charm hanging from it.  However, if those charms (made from polymer clay) don’t tickle your fancy, then she does take custom orders so if you would rather have a Hylian Shield for example, you can!  However, the price may very on custom orders so keep that in mind and make sure to discuss that with her before ordering.

Times like this, I kind of regret being a guy because I would love to wear something like that.  Even if I did have long hair, I could never pull something like that off simply because I am a guy and that sucks.  Consider yourself lucky ladies!
