Archives For Cartoon clothing

I miss the days when Nickelodeon was actually a channel worth watching.  Back in the 90s, the majority of my television watching took place on channel 16 which is Nickelodeon in my town.  They had all kinds of fantastic shows ranging from Rocko’s Modern Life to Are You Afraid of the Dark.  Now, the only thing they have worth watching is the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon.  However, over the past few years, I have made it my mission to acquire the episodes of all of those classic 90s Nickelodeon shows that I used to watch by any means possible.  One of those shows that I loved as a kid happens to be Aaahh!!! Real Monsters so when I saw this Krumm cosplay, you can guess how excited I became.

Sadly, I don’t know who this Krumm cosplayer is to give them the credit they deserve for this amazing costume (if you know, please let us know in the comments below so we can give them credit).  I love how they included the all important armpit hair!  I hope he smelled as bad as Krumm did to complete the costume.

Good news everyone!  I have stumbled upon some amazing Futurama fingernail art you are sure to love!  If you love Futurama as much as I do (I think it is the best cartoon ever), this Futurama fingernail art is sure to bring a huge smile to your face.

Reddit user DerpLasagnaBeers shared this picture of their phenomenal Futurama fingernail art on Reddit earlier this year but it wasn’t until a few days ago that I saw it.  Most of your favorite Futurama characters are here including Fry, Bender, Leela, Zoidberg, Nibbler, Professor Farnsworth, Hypnotoad, Kif, Captain Brannigan and even Morbo!  I am blown away by how well this nail art turned out!

If you like this and want to see more amazing Futurama fingernail art, check out the Futurama fingernail art I posted on my Global Geek News blog a couple of weeks ago.

Good news everyone!  It is a Monday again!  Ok, that sounds more like bad news to me, but if every Monday came with pictures of fantastic Futurama tattoos like the one below, then Mondays might not suck so much!

I’m not sure who the obviously talented person is that inked this impressive full sleeve Futurama tattoo (if you know who did it, please let us know in the comments below so we can give them the credit they deserve), but the arm belongs to Planet Express Employee Lounge forum member TheBjorkDork.  This person is definitely the ultimate Futurama fan!

I love the color in this tattoo!

Although there is plenty of tough competition, I have to say that Futurama is my all time favorite cartoon.  Unfortunately, there don’t seem to be many t-shirts out there that would allow me to sport my love for the sci-fi cartoon.  However, at least there is a Slurm shirt that is available!

The awesome folks over at BustedTees are selling this Futurama inspired Slurm shirt for $20.  Slurm might be the most disgusting drink in the galaxy, but at least you don’t have to worry about this shirt coming out of a giant slug’s butt.  I hope.

If you are a Futurama fan and don’t buy this shirt, then I invite you to bite my shiny metal ass!

Good news everyone!  Now you can finally pretend to live in the year 3,000 and be an intergalactic package delivery person!  OK, so maybe its not normal for adults to have that kind of an imagination, but at least you can dress the part with this awesome Futurama inspired Planet Express t-shirt!

The awesome folks over at Bustedtees are selling this Futurama inspired Planet Express logo t-shirt for just $20. If you are on the fence about buying this, then I have something for you to consider to help you get off the fence.  I find t-shirts like this are a fantastic ice breaker for starting conversations with strangers.  That is one of the main reasons I wear all of the geeky things I do!

Anyway, as a huge Futurama fan, I plan on ordering this shirt and I suggest you do the same!  And if you don’t like this shirt, you can bite my shiny metal ass!

Its not too uncommon to see some good Futurama cosplay, but I’ve never seen any besides cosplay of Bender, Leela and Fry.  That is until now!

I don’t know who this guy is (if you know, let us know in the comments below), but he pulls off some awesome Scruffy the janitor cosplay!  Apparently this picture was taken at last week’s San Diego Comic-Con (I don’t know who took the picture either so let us know if you do so we can give them credit).  Its a pretty simple costume but I don’t it could look any better if he tried!

This just goes to show you, cosplay isn’t just a young mans game!

Sometimes I wonder what people are thinking when they start selling things like sweaters after winter is over.  This would fall into that category.  Entertainment Earth is accepting pre-orders for this awesome knit Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sweatshirt which will set you back $39.99.  The stupid thing is that these will start shipping in June, exactly when you don’t want to be  wearing a sweater!  At least you can say you got a head start on your winter clothes shopping!  Chowabunga dude!

I’m not exactly sure I would call the Flinstones geeky but this is still great cosplay and my blog so I will blog it if I want to!  Like probably most of you, I grew up watching the Flinstones but sadly, I haven’t watched it for years.  Well, for those feeling a little nostalgic, perhaps this awesome Betty and Wilma cosplay will bring back some great memories!  This cosplay is being rocked by DeviantART users Rekuuu (Wilma) and Yorie (Betty) and shot by photographer csepi.  You can find more pictures with the via link below.  Yabba Dabba Doo!

Kevin from Miccostumes.com shot me an e-mail recently about some of the awesome sponsored cosplay on their site and I thought it would be a great idea to post some of it here on Fanboy Fashion too!  In this particular case, we have cosplayer Aura sporting some fantastic looking Vocaloid Hatsune Miku cosplay.  Pictures like these make  me wonder why more women don’t sport blue hair?  Its hot!  Anyway, if you like this and want to see more, you should definitely check out her gallery over at DeviantART as she has done a ton of other cosplay.  And for those curious, Hatsune Miku means “the first sound from the future.”

Gizmoduck Cosplay [pic]

I don’t know how I could have possibly forgot Gizmoduck but despite all of those years of watching DuckTales, somehow I managed to forget all about the Gizmoduck character.  Well, apparently this guy didn’t forget about him because he is sporting the only Gizmoduck cosplay I have ever seen.  Any cosplay that involves riding a unicycle gets a thumbs up in my book!  Hopefully this will remind more people about the awesome character and inspire more DuckTales cosplay!  If you have any awesome cosplay pictures you would like us to share, shoot me an e-mail at pcnerd37 [at] globalgeeknews.com
