Last year I largely lost my passion for blogging and while I at least made some effort to keep things relatively fresh over on my main blog, Global Geek News, I pretty much abandoned Fanboy Fashion and all my other sites. Well, I finally have that fire to start posting again so starting Monday, there will be new posts on Fanboy Fashion! I can’t promise I will post as often as I used to as my plate is a lot fuller than it used to be but I’ll at least try to post two or three times a week from now on.
I plan to post about all the amazing things I have in the past from cosplay to geeky clothes you can buy so if you loved the stuff we posted, it is coming back. To give you a small preview of just whats coming up, on Monday I will be posting some Deadpool eye makeup that will blow you away!
Thanks for sticking with me through all this time and I look forward to bringing you some amazing stuff!
I don’t think I ever announced it here on Fanboy Fashion like I did my other site, Global Geek News, but I now have my own nerdy clothing store called Geek Tees! There are tons of amazing designs, many of which I own and wear all the time myself and I am constantly adding new designs.
Anyway, if you are in the market for some geeky clothing whether it is for the Legend of Zelda, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Futurama just to name a few, you should definitely be shopping at Geek Tees!
Through Friday, everything is on sale at Geek Tees too! All t-shirts which are normally $20 are marked down to just $14! You can also pick up tank tops, crewnecks and hoodies for $18, $30 and $35 respectively as well!
Whether you are looking for something for yourself or for somebody else as a gift, now would be the time to shop since sales like these don’t come around very often!
Make sure to check out Geek Tees regularly to see all of the cool clothing designs that I add to keep things fresh.
It is still about 15 hours away from the new year for me, but I wanted to take a moment and wish everybody a Happy New Year!
This year has been full of ups and downs for Fanboy Fashion and myself personally but hopefully 2014 will be full with nothing but ups! So far, things are already looking pretty bright but I’m not one to count my chickens before they hatch.
So, what can you expect in the new year from Fanboy Fashion? Well, for starters, regular posts! Starting next week if not before (if the mood strikes me), we will be back to AT LEAST 3 posts a week (Mon-Wed-Fri schedule). I already have a number of posts written and ready to go just to make sure things get started off smoothly. If my personal life allows, I will even try to get back to posting five days a week.
Also, I have begun toying with a new design for Fanboy Fashion and Global Geek News, my other geek blog. While I have always liked this current design, the developer is no longer in business and actively supporting it so I feel the need to move on. Also, with the last major revision they did, they increased the font size bigger than I liked so I am hoping to fix that with the new design. I don’t have an ETA on the change yet as I am still kicking around some ideas but depending on how much time I get to work on it, hopefully it will be up and running in the next month or two.
Have a Happy New Year and I will see you in 2014!
I’ve seen some rather unique swimsuits in the past including the Nintendo Game Boy swimsuit I posted some time ago, but I would have never imagined that somebody would have made a swimsuit out of a font type. Well, that is exactly what the folks at Black Milk Clothing (the same people that made the Game Boy swimsuit) have done!
For the font lovers out there who love Helvetica, you can get this awesome Helvetica font swimsuit from Black Milk Clothing for $90 AUD or $93.69.
Even if I was a woman, I’m not sure this would be my style, however I am not font obsessed like a number of people I know.
Pass this along to any Helvetica font lovers you know! Like Fanboy Fashion on Facebook too!

Perhaps the best part about being a geek is that I have a deeper appreciation for many franchises like Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who and others. However, it does become a challenge trying to find time to spend with all of the different geeky things that I love. I think that is exactly the message that Kermit the Frog is trying to make in this “It’s Not Easy Being Geek” T-shirt. For the geeks out there that feel the same way and love this awesome shirt, you can order the “It’s Not Easy Being Geek” shirt from Redbubble for $24.54. That is more than I like paying for a t-shirt, but this is pretty awesome!
