Archives For Borderlands

Although I have never got around to finishing any of the Borderlands games, from the time I have spent at least with the first one, I think they are quite good.  Perhaps if my schedule will allow, I will get around to finishing the first game so that when the pre-sequel comes out in October, I can play it before going into the sequel since that seems to be the most logical order to play them in.  Until then, some great Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel cosplay should wet the appetite for the upcoming game!

The stunning and very detailed Athena cosplay from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel was done by the cosplayer It’s Raining Neon.  Apparently she is also responsible for her own photography here which is even more impressive!  I’m not sure how long this stunning cosplay took to make but it was definitely worth every second of effort!

Speaking of Borderlands cosplay, if you like this, you should definitely check out the Borderlands cel shaded jeans that I posted last week because they will blow you away!

What are you most looking forward to about the new game?  Let us know in the comments below!

I will admit that I never got around to finishing the first Borderlands game much less the second one.  I enjoyed the time I spent with the game, I just never went back to it for some reason although after seeing these jeans, I might have to go back and play it this weekend.

I’ve always been a fan of women in some nice fitting jeans but one cosplayer has taken that idea to the next level and painted some cel shaded jeans for some Borderlands cosplay she is working on.

Cosplayer Kirameku has been working on some Borderlands inspired Nisha the Lawbringer cosplay and she has uploaded some pictures of her progress showing the jeans she has been working on.  Using a mixture of Textilcolor and water, she has done an absolutely stunning job of recreating the cel shading style of graphics from the Borderlands games.  I don’t know how much time she has spent getting it to look that good with that level of detail and shadowing and such but it was time well spent because it looks amazing!

If these is just the pants, I can’t wait to see what the rest of this Nisha the Lawbringer cosplay looks like!

Are you one of the millions of people that loves the Borderlands games?  I know I count myself among them!

Well, if you do enjoy the game and especially have a love for Claptrap, I think I have come across a hoodie that will have you reaching for your credit card.

The geektastic people over at ThinkGeek are selling this awesome Hello Minion Claptrap hoodie for $57.99.  It comes in a range of sizes from small to XXL and will make you the envy of all of your Borderlands loving friends!

As for the details, it is a full zip hoodie with CL4P-TP on the front and the full robot on the back.  Unfortunately, this hoodie isn’t likely to make you as funny as Claptrap but stranger things have happened!

Lots of people (myself included) seem to really love the Borderlands games but some love it a bit more than others and the result tends to be some rather fantastic cosplay.  In the past I have posted some amazing Lilith Borderlands Cosplay, Psycho cosplay and even some great Mad Moxxi cosplay.  Well, now we have some more Mad Moxxi cosplay to add to the group!

This magnificent Mad Moxxi cosplay is being sported by cosplayer Chloe Pearce.  You can find more pictures on her blog in the source link below, but this picture is my favorite although they are all pretty good.  The photographer, ACE A.M.P Photography, also did a great job with the pictures!

Now I have the urge to spend a few hours tonight playing Borderlands.  I guess its a good thing I didn’t have any other plans tonight.

The Borderlands games are great and certainly worthy of making for some great tattoos, but I’m pretty sure this is the first time I have ever seen somebody take the box art from a game and turn it into a tattoo.  That seems to be exactly what one Borderlands fan has done with this amazing Psycho Bandit tattoo!

The clearly talented tattoo artist Dane Grannon is the guy that inked this amazing Borderlands tattoo inspired by the game’s box art.  I am blown away by how the coloring turned out on this Borderlands tattoo.  I think that is probably what makes it so great looking!

If gaming tattoos is what you like, I suggest also checking out the sexy NES controller and Super Mario Bros tattoo I posted a while back.

I haven’t had much time for gaming lately so I am still trying to work my way though the first Borderlands, but for those that are enjoying Borderlands 2 (and judging by the reviews I have seen and Twitter friends that have been talking about the game, everybody seems to love it), I have found some awesome Borderlands 2 cosplay for you!

Cosplayer Jessica Nigri is sporting this fantastic Mad Moxxi cosplay from Borderlands 2.  I would say the costume turned out great!  Combine that with the lighting, and it makes it even more of a great picture!  Speaking of the lighting, photograph Anna Fischer is the person that took this beautiful photograph.

Congrats to both Jessica and Anna on the awesome Mad Moxxi cosplay and beautiful picture!

It seems like most gamers I know are obsessed with playing Borderlands 2 right now so I figured this Claptrap shirt would be the perfect shirt post!  If you love the hilarious little robot (whose official name is CL4P-TP), then I have a feeling you will want one of these awesome Claptrap t-shirts!

The fantastic folks over at ThinkGeek are currently selling this awesome Borderlands inspired Claptrap shirt for $19.99-20.99 (depending on the size you need).  This 100% cotton shirt will make you the envy of all of your Borderlands loving friends so get it while the game is still popular!

If you still need more Claptrap to get your Borderlands fix, I recommend checking out this awesome Claptrap wedding cake and the hilarious Claptrap wedding proposal.

While the rest of the world is playing their way through Borderlands 2, I am just starting to play the first Borderlands game.  I may only have a few hours into the game so far, but I already love it and have a new appreciation for great Borderlands cosplay like the cosplay below!

Photographer Marvin Arcelona is the person behind this awesome Borderlands Psycho photoshoot that took place at the San Diego Comic-Con this year.  Meg Turney is the woman sporting this oddly sexy female Psycho cosplay.  I don’t think these pictures could have possibly turned out any better!  Congrats to both Marvin and Meg on the fantastic job!

On the huge list of games that I have but haven’t got around to playing is Borderlands and after seeing this Borderlands inspired cosplay, I think it just moved up a couple spots on the list.

DeviantART user tarotea is the girl sporting this awesome Lilith cosplay from Borderlands 2 and I’d say she looks great!  The blue body paint is really cool but I think it is her eyes that really draw you in.  I wish people had eyes like that naturally!  That would be really cool!

Beethy, another DeviantART user is the person that took this great picture!  Congrats to the both of them on the awesome job!
