Doctor Who You Don’t Know Me Glow In The Dark T-Shirt

Tomorrow is the big day!  Doctor Who returns with Peter Capaldi as the new Doctor and I couldn’t be more excited!  I am really curious to see how he does as the new Doctor and I am looking forward to seeing if he is as dark as everybody seems to be hyping him up to be.  Speaking of the 12th Doctor, despite having dozens of Doctor Who t-shirts, I can’t say I have any featuring him but thanks to the shirt below, I can have one with not only him, but all of the Doctors!  Well, not counting the War Doctor that is.

The incredible folks over at ThinkGeek are selling this exclusive Doctor Who You Don’t Know Me t-shirt for just $19.99!  This amazing shirt features the 12th Doctor and the phrase “You don’t know me” but when the lights are turned out, it glows in the dark and all of the other Doctors appear with the rest of the message which says “but you will”.

I have a few similar glow in the dark shirts ranging from a clever Star Trek style clocking device shirt to a Cylon shirt which glows in the dark and if you are like me, when you get a sweet shirt like this Doctor Who shirt, you will spend hours in the bathroom flipping the lights on and off just to enjoy the glow in the dark features.  So just some advice, make sure you clear your calendar for the evening you get this because you will be playing with the lights.

COWABUNGA! This TMNT Comic Tee is totally tubular and as low as $10!

Despite being a life long fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I have absolutely no desire to see Michael Bay’s hideous incarnation of them and passed up the opportunity to see the new movie this weekend in favor of Guardians of the Galaxy (which was a pretty good movie and worth seeing in 3D).  While the new movie doesn’t appeal to me, I will always love the old school TMNT I grew up with!

I can’t say I ever read the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic books, but I loved the cartoons and played the crap out of the NES TMNT games.  Speaking of those old turtles, if you loved them, I found the perfect shirt for you!

The old school Turtles lovers over at 80sTees.com are selling this awesome Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book t-shirt for as low as $10!  The shirt is $10 for sizes of XL and smaller and then the price goes up to $14 or $16 for sizes larger than that.  To make the shirt look like one of the old comics, it even features a price and volume number.

Two great shirts just $11 today, Super Mario vs Bioshock

Other than trying to catch the old Bob Ross painting show on PBS on Saturday mornings, I can’t say I pay a tremendous amount of attention to paintings.  However, I have always been a fan of Van Gogh and especially his Starry Night painting which is even the wallpaper for some of my devices like my iPod Touch.  When  you combine that with my love for Super Mario, its safe to say you have come up with a t-shirt design that I can’t pass up!

The fantastic people over at TeeFury are doing one of their twofury sales today where they put to shirts against each other to see which one sells more.  Todays competitors are Super Starry Night by Naolito and I’ll Always Protect You by Logan Feliciano, both of which you can get for $11 today only!  Whether you love Super Mario Bros, Bioshock or both, I suspect you will want at least one of these cool shirts (designs below)!

Don’t forget, even if you aren’t a big fan the colors of these shirts, they do have other options to choose from.  Speaking for myself, I am definitely getting the Mario shirt but I am torn between the shirt being black (I already have a hundred or so black shirts) or the navy blue which I like just as much.

This Star Wars Wookie Photobomb T-Shirt is Awesome!

Even though I love seeing funny photobombed pictures like everybody else, I have never had the guts to photobomb somebody.  I’m just not comfortable with the idea of ruining the special moment somebody is trying to capture by acting like an idiot.  Whenever I see somebody trying to take a picture, I do the polite thing and move out of the way until they are done.  Maybe some day I will do it but I just don’t think that is me as I tend to adhere pretty closely to the idea of treating others how I would like to be treated.  Anyway, speaking of funny photobombs, if you are a Star Wars fan, then I suspect you will love this funny shirt of Chewbacca photobombing Darth Vader and a couple of Stormtroopers with a giant #1 Rebels foam finger like you would see at a sports event.

The nerdy folks over at 80sTees are selling this hilarious Wookie Photobomb T-Shirt for $22.  Whether you are a Chewbacca or Darth Vader fan, I have a feeling that as long as you love Star Wars and have a sense of humor, you will love this shirt!  Also, this tee is tagless for those that care about such things.

Star Trek: The Next Generation Uniform Onesies

Maybe its because I’m not a big fan of babies, but I’ve never been one to go crazy about cute baby outfits like many people I know.  Generally speaking, I think the prices that baby outfits cost is insane, especially when they only fit in them for such a short amount of time.  It just doesn’t feel like you really get your moneys worth.  However, I managed to come across a onesie that it not only fairly reasonably priced, but it is the perfect for any Star Trek fan!

The amazing Star Trek lovers over at ThinkGeek are selling these adorable Star Trek: The Next Generation uniform onesies for just $19.99!  They come in red, blue and gold and in a variety of sizes ranging from 6 to 18 months.  There is no guarantee that your kid will grow up to love Star Trek: The Next Generation as much as you do but with a onesie like this, I’d say you have improved your odds.  But be warned, referring to your baby by their rank in public might result in people making fun of you.

Great Pokémon Officer Jenny Cosplay

One of the things I always thought was a bit silly when I used to watch the Pokemon cartoons (back before they introduced a ton of new Pokemon I just couldn’t bring myself to care about) was that every city had a Nurse Joy and an Officer Jenny.  It seemed like kind of an odd element in the show but still cool to see the same characters everywhere.  However, I’m guessing most people weren’t as intrigued by the idea as I was because I don’t think I have seen cosplay of either of them until today.

Cosplayer Siren’s Belle is the beautiful girl sporting this great Officer Jenny cosplay. I think she does a great job bringing the cartoon character to life although I can’t help but think that it would be better if she had Officer Jenny’s Growlithe with her.  Seeing one without the other just feels a little odd but since Growlithe isn’t real, I guess its not a big deal.  Also, the photography is pretty good which was done by Beethy.

Now I really feel the urge to go watch the old Pokemon cartoon.  Off to Netflix I go!

This Cartoon Poker Dogs T-Shirt is Cool

The ‘Dogs Playing Poker’ painting series by C.M. Cooling is incredibly popular but it has never quite been my taste when it comes to art.  I think they are well done but when it comes to art, I guess I am more of a Van Gogh and Bob Ross kind of guy.  However, this poker dogs t-shirt featuring many of the most iconic cartoon dogs is something I would love to wear!

The stylish people over at BustedTees are selling this Poker Dogs t-shirt for just $20!  It features some of the most famous cartoon dogs in history playing poker including Snoopy, Scooby-Doo, Pluto, Odie, Brian and more.

If you grew up watching any the cartoons with these dogs whether it was Scooby-Doo, Garfield’s Odie, Mickey’s Pluto or Peter Griffin’s Brian, I think you will find something to love about this shirt.  I grew up watching all of them although I have no clue who the two dogs are that are closest to the viewer with their backs toward you.  I know I have seen the one on the left before but I have no idea who he is and I have never seen the purple one on the right.  If anybody would like to educate me about them in the comments below, I would greatly appreciate it!

This Sweet Gears of War 2 Marching Tee is Just $12 Right Now!

UPDATE (5/30/14 10:23am): It looks like the only size they have left is a men’s small and I’m not sure if they will get the other sizes back in stock.

Until the chain broke a few times to the point that it was not really that comfortable to get on and off anymore, I used to wear some Gears of War dog tags whenever I would leave the house that I got at some midnight pre-launch event for the first game at a GameStop that I used to live next door to.  While I enjoyed wearing the dog tags and the compliments I would get because of it, to let you in on a little secret, I have never played more than a couple of hours of the first game and I have never played any of the Gears of War games after that.  Its not that I don’t enjoy the game because I did enjoy what time I spent with it, there were just games I enjoyed playing more at the time and I never went back to give the game a proper play though (yet I still bought Gears of War 2 and 3).

Well, for those that are bigger fans of Gears of War than I am or if you want to do like I did for several years and just masquerade as one, I have found the perfect shirt for you which is currently on sale!

The super nerdy folks over at SuperHeroStuff.com are selling this badass Gears of War 2 Marching t-shirt for just $12 right now!  I don’t know how long the sale will last before it goes back up to its regular $20 so if you love the game, I would jump on this deal now!

This Lady Ghostbuster Cosplayer Ain’t Afraid of No Ghosts

Maybe its just me but it feels like with every day that goes by, I lose a little more hope of seeing another Ghostbusters movie get made.  I know it has been in the works for a while but with Bill Murray not being interested in being in it and the death of Harold Ramis a couple of months ago, I am losing hope.  However, even if we don’t see another movie, there are always the old movies and cartoons to watch as well as video games to play.  Not only that, but here is some great female Ghostbuster cosplay to enjoy!

Cosplayer Maeghan Eyre teamed up with Ghostbusters News to do a little cosplay photoshoot in a library with photographer Jason Fitzsimmons.  Both the cosplay and the photography turned out great!

Not only is the costume good, but the proton pack and other equipment looks great!  I’m also kind of curious to know who she got to sign the proton pack.  To see more pictures, hit up the source link below.

Star Trek Athletic Hats

If you ever see me in person, chances are you will never see me without a hat on.  Largely due to my very light sensitive eyes, I never leave the house without a hat and sunglasses on.  As a result, people tend to see me as someone who never takes their hat off.  Being a hat guy, I usually go through about 2-3 hats a year because they get dirty, sweat stained and rather disgusting after about 6 months or so.  While I still have several months of use left on the God of War hat I have been sporting, I’ve been on the hunt for its replacement and that is when I came across these cool Star Trek athletic hats.

The incredible folks over at ThinkGeek are selling these awesome Star Trek athletic hats for $24.99!  You have the choice of red, blue or gold and they are adjustable with a clip and pull tab in the back.

One of these hats is definitely going to be my next hat, I just can’t decide which one I want!  I’m debating between either red or blue.  If you get one of these hats, let me know in the comments below which color you go with!
