Incredible Princess Peach Warrior Cosplay

I always enjoy seeing people take their cosplay in a slightly different direction than just the typical recreation.  While I do enjoy seeing people go to incredible lengths to recreate a character down to the finest detail, its nice to see them do something a little more original every once in a while like this sweet warrior Princess Peach cosplay.

This badass warrior Princess Peach cosplay was done by cosplayer Alexia Jean Grey who looks like she is definitely ready to go into battle.  With the exception of the corset which was made by Castle Corsetry, she apparently made the rest of the costume herself and I’d say she did a heck of a job!  I’m really curious to know just how long it took her to make this costume because there is quite a bit of detail to it with all of the jewels, mushrooms and such.

While I am impressed with the whole costume, I especially like the warp pipes on the sword as that seems really clever.  I’d follow her into battle any day!

This R2-D2 Corset is the Droid You Have Been Looking For

To be honest, I have never really cared much for corsets on women.  I know a lot of guys like them because it make the boobs jump out and say “Howdy!” but I just can’t get over how uncomfortable they look and what they do to your insides.  To give you an idea of what I mean, check out the x-rays of women wearing corsets that I came across on Monday.  I have a feeling those pictures may turn some of you off to them now too but for those that still love them and have a love for Star Wars, I have found the droid corset you are looking for!

Etsy seller pendragoncostumes is selling this nerdy R2-D2 corset for $195. They come in sizes 0-20 and take 6-8 weeks to make so keep that in mind in case you are thinking about ordering one for your next sci-fi convention.

Even though I am not a corset loving kind of guy, I admit I still think this design is pretty cool!  That said, the price feels high to me.  I’ve never looked at prices for corsets before since I have no desire to wear one (although it might make me the first guy ever to do so) but that feels like a lot for something that covers less of the body than my $10 t-shirt does.  I know that is comparing apples to oranges but I think it gets my point across.  Is that a high price?  How much do you usually spend on corsets?  I am very curious to know so let me know in the comments below!

This TARDIS Corset is Fantastic [pics]

There are a lot of people that love corsets but I have never been one of them.  I think they just look way too uncomfortable (clothing should allow you to breath) and I am more of a butt guy than a boob guy so the cleavage benefits don’t do much for me.  However, occasionally I do come across a corset that even I like and this is one of those times!

Tumblr user The Gothic Alice created this fantastic Doctor Who inspired TARDIS corset.  She didn’t give any details on the construction of this TARDIS corset like how long it took to make or anything but I would say it was time well spent because it turned out looking great!  However, she does mention that it is bigger on the inside which I could understand in this context.

Handmade Star Wars Boba Fett Corset [pic]

After seeing the permanent deformities that some women have because they wear a corset all the time (especially when they are way too tight), I can’t say I am a huge fan of corsets.  However, I’m sure its probably not that big of a problem if you only wear them once in a great while rather than every day.  In that case, I’m all in favor or Star Wars inspired corsets!

Etsy seller damselinthisdress is selling this awesome Star Wars inspired Boba Fett corset for $149.  While this is for a waist size 41-43, you can find a bunch of other available sizes on her Etsy store.  She also sells corsets for other Star Wars characters as well including Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper, but this Boba Fett one is my favorite so I decided to post about it.

Just remember, if you get one of these make sure not to tie it so tight that you can’t breath!  I don’t want to hear about any of my readers having died because they tied their Boba Fett corset so tight they couldn’t breath.

Doctor Who Corset and TARDIS Bow Tie [pic]

Back in the very first days of Fanboy Fashion, I posted an awesome TARDIS corset and now I have found another awesome Doctor Who themed corset to share!  Not only does this Doctor Who corset look fantastic with lots of TARDIS’ floating around and some Time Lord writing, I think perhaps my favorite part of this picture is the awesome TARDIS bow tie!  I’ve never had any desire to wear a bow tie, even if Matt Smith thinks they are cool, but I might not mind wearing a TARDIS bow tie when the occasion calls for it.

Awesome Doctor Who TARDIS Corset [pic]

Doctor Who fans are well aware that while the TARDIS looks like a simple police box on the outside, it stores something amazing on the inside.  I suspect that is likely still the case with this amazing TARDIS corset.  This lady may not be able to breath in this corset but at least she looks good in it and isn’t that what really matters anyway?  Now, I challenge one of you to take this one step further and make a Doctor Who TARDIS wedding dress!  Who is up to the challenge?
