Great Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Edward Kenway Cosplay

After finishing Assassin’s Creed: Liberation on my Vita a couple of weeks ago, I’ve taken a bit of break from Assassin’s Creed to play some Age of Mythology: Extended Edition which came out on Steam recently before I go back and finally get around to playing some Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.  While I am engrossed in AoM at the moment, cosplay like this Assassin’s Creed IV inspired Edward Kenway has me thinking about putting it on hold for a little while just to play some Assassin’s Creed.  Perhaps that will happen but I’m enjoying reliving the Age of Mythology days too much right now to give it up.

For the Assassin’s Creed fans out there, I suspect you will love this Edward Kenway cosplay by cosplayer Kobuz Worknest.  The photography which is also quite impressive was done by KamelotVIII.

If the pictures below have you craving more incredible Edward Kenway cosplay, I’d suggest checking out some previous posts including one Edward Kenway cosplay with the best cosplay photography I have seen as well as one with some great female Edward Kenway cosplay.

Incredible Female Thief Cosplay

There seem to be a lot of fans of the Thief games out there but I can’t say that I am one of them.  I have never tried the games or even payed much attention to them.  However, after seeing last week’s review of the latest Thief game by Zero Punctuation, I may go check out the older Thief games and likely skip the latest one.  The old games are only $7 on Steam which is quite reasonable although I will probably still wait for a sale because I’m cheap and have a bunch of other games I need to play anyway.  On an unrelated note, I finished Assassin’s Creed: Liberation on the Vita last night and it is great.  I’d say it is definitely a must play for Vita owners.  And now back to Thief…

This stunning female Thief cosplay was created by Lyz Brickley Cosplay and photographed by Darshelle Stevens.  While I am not terribly familiar with the games, I’d say this is still some amazing cosplay!  She definitely looks like she means business!

Incredible Princess Peach Warrior Cosplay

I always enjoy seeing people take their cosplay in a slightly different direction than just the typical recreation.  While I do enjoy seeing people go to incredible lengths to recreate a character down to the finest detail, its nice to see them do something a little more original every once in a while like this sweet warrior Princess Peach cosplay.

This badass warrior Princess Peach cosplay was done by cosplayer Alexia Jean Grey who looks like she is definitely ready to go into battle.  With the exception of the corset which was made by Castle Corsetry, she apparently made the rest of the costume herself and I’d say she did a heck of a job!  I’m really curious to know just how long it took her to make this costume because there is quite a bit of detail to it with all of the jewels, mushrooms and such.

While I am impressed with the whole costume, I especially like the warp pipes on the sword as that seems really clever.  I’d follow her into battle any day!

Incredible Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Edward Kenway Cosplay

I’ve spent a fair bit of my free time lately playing Assassin’s Creed: Liberation on the PlayStation Vita and while it feels a bit stripped down simply because it seems to do nothing to really forward the overall Assassin’s Creed story and is just about the gameplay, I am still really enjoying it.  It was definitely worth the $14 or whatever I paid for it on sale on the PlayStation Network store a couple of weeks ago.  If you are an Assassin’s Creed fan and have a Vita, I highly recommend picking it up.

Speaking of Assassin’s Creed, as soon as I finish Liberation, I plan on jumping right into Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and after seeing this amazing Edward Kenway cosplay from the game, I am really excited to play it!

Cosplayer LeonChiroCosplayArt is the man behind this incredible Edward Kenway cosplay and Marcella Fava Nerd Photographer is the person responsible for this beautiful photography.

I wish I had the costume making skills of this guy just because I think I would look like a total badass wearing something like that around town all the time.

Epic Game Boy Cosplay Is Playable And Uses Giant Cartridges

I have a rather nice little collection of Game Boys as I had a bit of an obsession with them as a kid (my Tetris addiction probably didn’t help) but if there is one thing I don’t have in my collection and would die to have in my collection, it would be a giant wearable Game Boy that is playable and uses giant Game Boy cartridges.

I’m not sure who this awesome guy is or where he was spotted (if you know, please let me know in the comments below so I can give him the credit he definitely deserves), but a few days ago on reddit I came across these pictures of a guy sporting some epic Game Boy cosplay that is actually playable!

I’m not sure just how many games this guy has for people to play on his huge Game Boy costume, but I at least know there is Tetris, Dr. Mario and Donkey Kong Land judging by the second picture with another guy holding up two of the giant cartridges.

And while you can play this giant Game Boy, I’m not sure how practical it is given the size of the controls, especially for a game like Tetris.  The back-lit screen is also a bit of an authenticity killer but it does make it look better than the picture where the back-lit doesn’t seem to be turned on so I can live with it.  Back-lit or not, this Game Boy costume is epic!  Whoever this guy is, he is my hero!

Awesome Steampunk Tinkerbell Cosplay

Ever since I was a kid, I have had a big love for Peter Pan and that fantasy universe.  I remember watching the Disney cartoon over and over again as a kid and these days I will watch the classic Hook movie with Robin Williams whenever I see it on TV.  It seems like love for Neverland has fallen off in recent years because I remember seeing lots of Peter Pan and Hook costumes when I was a kid (I remember even having one of the hook hand toys when I was a kid) and you never see them these days.

Well, it looks like there is at least one other fan still out there judging by this awesome steampunk Tinkerbell cosplay.

Sadly, I don’t know who this awesome Tinkerbell cosplayer is, who took this picture or what con this was at but I think this cosplay is great!  If you know who this girl is or who took the picture, please let us know in the comments below so we can give them the credit they deserve!

I hope Hook is still on Netflix because now I am in the mood to watch it for the millionth time.

Impressive World of Warcraft Alexstrasza the Lifebinder Cosplay

Even though the game has been a big deal for around a decade now, I have still managed to avoid playing World of Warcraft.  Having watched people play the game, I would consider playing it if it wasn’t for two things.  First, I’ve seen what WoW addiction can do to people (one of my former roommates was a WoW addict) and second is that I refuse to pay a subscription fee for a game.  No matter how much I want to play a game *cough* Elder Scrolls Online *cough*, I will NEVER pay a subscription fee to play a game.

Anyway, even if I have never played the game, I can still appreciate the great cosplay!

In the past, I have featured some incredible World of Warcraft cosplay including some impressive Sally Whitemane cosplay and some amazing Blood Elf cosplay among others.  To see all of the great WoW cosplay posts I have made, just search for World of Warcraft cosplay in the search box on the right.  As for today’s post…

This amazing WoW Alexstrasza cosplay was made by Oshley Cosplay (Ashley).  The costume took her 4 months to make but what is really impressive is that this Alexstrasza the Lifebinder is her first attempt at cosplay!  For a first attempt, I’d say she did one heck of a fantastic job!

Amazing Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword Princess Zelda Cosplay

Perhaps sometime in the next week, I will start catching up on Legend of Zelda games.  I am somewhat ashamed to admit that I am I am several games behind on the Nintendo 3DS and Wii and that is something I really need to rectify.  However, until my schedule allows me time to do that, I will just appreciate some awesome Legend of Zelda cosplay like the fantastic Skyward Sword inspired Princess Zelda cosplay below!

Cosplayer Kawaii Ringo spent a month working on this awesome Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword inspired Princess Zelda cosplay.  I’d say the time was well spent as her attention to detail is quite good!  I am definitely impressed!  I would definitely be interested in knowing if that harp can actually be played?

The photography was done by LJ Decker Photography.

I really wish people dressed like this normally and not just as cosplay because it looks great and the stuff people wear as normal clothing just seems boring in comparison.

Sexy Sonic the Hedgehog Cosplay

Over the years, I have seen cosplay for video games ranging from Super Mario Bros to Diablo III but in all of this time, I can’t recall having ever come across any Sonic the Hedgehog cosplay.  Of course I may have and I have just forgot about it because my memory sucks (after nearly 3000 posts on my Global Geek News site, 400 here and countless others on other sites over the past 12 years that I have written, I can’t remember everything I have posted anymore).  So, when I came across this sexy Sonic the Hedgehog cosplay, I knew I had to share it because I’m sure I’m not the only one seeing some Sonic cosplay for the first time.

This awesome and sexy Sonic the Hedgehog cosplay is being sported by cosplayer Manzinat0r and it was photographed by Greg De Stefano.

As if the cosplay wasn’t enough, the orange and brown squares, grass and rings make these pictures full of Sonic awesomeness.  This is definitely a fantastic tribute to one of my favorite video games growing up!

I would also like to go on record in saying that there is nothing hotter than a woman with blue hair because we really need more women to sport blue hair.  I put it right up there with women with pointy Vulcan/elf type ears (don’t judge me).  Anyway…

Assassin’s Creed II Female Ezio Cosplay

The Assassin’s Creed games are far from perfect but they are still a lot of fun to play.  However, as much as I enjoy playing them, I enjoy the cosplay that they inspire even more!  In the past, I have posted all kinds of great Assassin’s Creed related cosplay including some great Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag female Edward Kenway Cosplay, some fantastic Assassin’s Creed III Connor Kenway cosplay and some amazing Assassin’s Creed III Lady Maverick and Independent cosplay.  Well, I have found some more great female Ezio Auditore da Firenze cosplay that I am sure you guys will love!

This awesome female Ezio cosplay comes from the great girlfriend/boyfriend cosplayer/photographer team known as Artisan’s Theory.  I’d say they did a pretty good job as the cosplay looks good and the photography looks great!

Maybe its just me, but I think people should dress like this all the time.  I know if I could, I definitely would!  I need to find a costume like that since I have no skills to make one just so I can wear it all the time and be the coolest looking guy in town.
