Archives For female

It seems like every time I find some good female Link or Princess Zelda cosplay to post, I am always asking myself if I post it too often.  I have posted some great female Link cosplay in the past such as this female Link cosplay and this one just to give a couple of examples.  But I wonder if maybe I do it too often?  I kind of feel like I do but then I remember just how much I love women with pointy ears and then I stop caring and post more.  Well, I found some more great female Link cosplay inspired by Ocarina of Time and thanks to the fact that I am a sucker for pointy ears, here is yet another female Link cosplay post!

This lovely lady Link cosplay is done by the cosplayer Lolita Zombie and these cool pictures were taken by Photographers in Philadelphia.  I think the pictures fit nicely with the cosplay even if she doesn’t really feel in the environments (Photoshop can’t make everything look natural).  I especially like the inclusion of Navi in the one picture.

Maybe its just me but it feels like with every day that goes by, I lose a little more hope of seeing another Ghostbusters movie get made.  I know it has been in the works for a while but with Bill Murray not being interested in being in it and the death of Harold Ramis a couple of months ago, I am losing hope.  However, even if we don’t see another movie, there are always the old movies and cartoons to watch as well as video games to play.  Not only that, but here is some great female Ghostbuster cosplay to enjoy!

Cosplayer Maeghan Eyre teamed up with Ghostbusters News to do a little cosplay photoshoot in a library with photographer Jason Fitzsimmons.  Both the cosplay and the photography turned out great!

Not only is the costume good, but the proton pack and other equipment looks great!  I’m also kind of curious to know who she got to sign the proton pack.  To see more pictures, hit up the source link below.

There seem to be a lot of fans of the Thief games out there but I can’t say that I am one of them.  I have never tried the games or even payed much attention to them.  However, after seeing last week’s review of the latest Thief game by Zero Punctuation, I may go check out the older Thief games and likely skip the latest one.  The old games are only $7 on Steam which is quite reasonable although I will probably still wait for a sale because I’m cheap and have a bunch of other games I need to play anyway.  On an unrelated note, I finished Assassin’s Creed: Liberation on the Vita last night and it is great.  I’d say it is definitely a must play for Vita owners.  And now back to Thief…

This stunning female Thief cosplay was created by Lyz Brickley Cosplay and photographed by Darshelle Stevens.  While I am not terribly familiar with the games, I’d say this is still some amazing cosplay!  She definitely looks like she means business!

Over the years, I have seen cosplay for video games ranging from Super Mario Bros to Diablo III but in all of this time, I can’t recall having ever come across any Sonic the Hedgehog cosplay.  Of course I may have and I have just forgot about it because my memory sucks (after nearly 3000 posts on my Global Geek News site, 400 here and countless others on other sites over the past 12 years that I have written, I can’t remember everything I have posted anymore).  So, when I came across this sexy Sonic the Hedgehog cosplay, I knew I had to share it because I’m sure I’m not the only one seeing some Sonic cosplay for the first time.

This awesome and sexy Sonic the Hedgehog cosplay is being sported by cosplayer Manzinat0r and it was photographed by Greg De Stefano.

As if the cosplay wasn’t enough, the orange and brown squares, grass and rings make these pictures full of Sonic awesomeness.  This is definitely a fantastic tribute to one of my favorite video games growing up!

I would also like to go on record in saying that there is nothing hotter than a woman with blue hair because we really need more women to sport blue hair.  I put it right up there with women with pointy Vulcan/elf type ears (don’t judge me).  Anyway…

The Assassin’s Creed games are far from perfect but they are still a lot of fun to play.  However, as much as I enjoy playing them, I enjoy the cosplay that they inspire even more!  In the past, I have posted all kinds of great Assassin’s Creed related cosplay including some great Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag female Edward Kenway Cosplay, some fantastic Assassin’s Creed III Connor Kenway cosplay and some amazing Assassin’s Creed III Lady Maverick and Independent cosplay.  Well, I have found some more great female Ezio Auditore da Firenze cosplay that I am sure you guys will love!

This awesome female Ezio cosplay comes from the great girlfriend/boyfriend cosplayer/photographer team known as Artisan’s Theory.  I’d say they did a pretty good job as the cosplay looks good and the photography looks great!

Maybe its just me, but I think people should dress like this all the time.  I know if I could, I definitely would!  I need to find a costume like that since I have no skills to make one just so I can wear it all the time and be the coolest looking guy in town.

As big of an Assassin’s Creed fan as I am, I haven’t got around to playing Assassin’s Creed III (which is sitting on my shelf), much less Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag that came out this week.  One of these days I will get around to catching up on the Assassin’s Creed games (I haven’t played Liberation on the Vita yet either) although it isn’t that high up on my gaming priority list simply because I am a little annoyed with the franchise.  The overall story progresses too slowly for my taste all because it seems they want to try to make as many of the games as possible to make as much money as possible.  Annoyances aside, I have posted a bunch of fantastic Assassin’s Creed stuff on here in the past (just search of it on the right because there is too many posts to link to them all), and today I have more awesome gender bending Assassin’s Creed cosplay!

Cosplayer Alexa Karii is sporting some incredible Edward Kenway cosplay from Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag in the pictures below.  Not only does the costume look fantastic, the photography is pretty good too!  I’ve never heard of Alexa before but I am definitely going to be following her cosplay from now on because she is clearly quite good at it.  I can’t wait to see what she comes up with in the future!

I don’t know that I have ever mentioned it on Fanboy Fashion before but the God of War games are my favorite series of games.  Not counting the latest prequel, I’ve always thought the story was captivating, the gameplay was incredible and the graphics are usually quite impressive for the time/system.  Normally, I am not a huge fan of quicktime events but they are so brutal in the game that I love them although sometimes they can feel a bit repetitive when the enemies never seem to end.  Anyway, speaking of God of War, this morning I stumbled across some awesome genderbending Kratos cosplay.

Cosplayer Lindsay Elyse is the beautiful woman sporting this awesome female Kratos cosplay.  I think she did a great job with the costume.  The body paint looks great and I really like the look of the Blades of Chaos.  Speaking of doing a great job, Adam Patrick Murray did a great job with the photography too.

It is a good thing the weekend is almost here because this Kratos cosplay has really put me in the mood to go play some God of War.  Now I just have to find the time to play it.

It has been a while since I have played Skyrim (I never went back and finished it some reason so maybe that is what I will do this weekend), but I still enjoy seeing some great Skyrim cosplay.  In the past, I have posted a bunch of great Skyrim cosplay including an award-winning Karliah cosplay, some incredible Daedirc cosplay and even some rather sexy Dovahkiin cosplay.  Well, now we can add a female High Elf to that list of fantastic Skyrim cosplay posts.

This stunning Skyrim female High Elf cosplay was done by Jenifer Ann and photographed by Brian Moilanen.  The pictures were taken around Jacksonville, FL and the costume was made entirely by hand with the faux armor being made of craft foam, metallic paint and gems.

I think this Skyrim cosplay is amazing but I don’t think I would want to see it in person.  There is just something creepy about the eyes that would have me running the opposite direction in fear for my life.  I think it is a hot look, just a bit creepy.

Although I think life as a guy is far easier than life as a woman, I have to admit that I can be slightly jealous of women at times.  Not because they can smile and get free stuff (although that would be nice) but because they tend to have a lot cooler clothes than guys have.  This amazing black and white Doctor Who skirt pictured below is a perfect example of that!  Even though I have no desire to ever wear a skirt, I would be happy if I could just get this design in the form of a t-shirt or something.  Women are lucky!

Etsy seller NerdAlertCreations is selling this this stunning Doctor Who skirt for just $45 and it is made to order.  No matter what you like about Doctor Who, you should be able to find it in this design whether it is the 10th Doctor, 11th Doctor, Weeping Angels or the Dalek, it is all here!

Thanks to all of the geeky conventions that happen all over the country, I have seen a crapton (the technical term) of cool TARDIS cosplay.  Until today, I have only once featured any TARDIS cosplay here on Fanboy Fashion (you can check it out here) and while it was definitely a cool costume, the one below blows it out of the sky!

This TARDIS dress / cosplay is not only very cool, it is the first one I have seen where the dress can be opened up (for lack of a better term) to show the inside of the TARDIS.  Very clever!

Unfortunately, I don’t know who this awesome TARDIS cosplayer is to give her the credit she definitely deserves, so if you know who she is, please let us know in the comments below so we can make sure to give her credit!
