If you are a Super Mario Bros fan, there is virtually no chance that you wont like these amazing Super Mario Bros shoes. Even if you aren’t a Super Mario Bros fan, I suspect you will still love these amazing shoes!
While I don’t know who made these fantastic Super Mario Bros heels (if you know, please let us know in the comments below so that we can give them the credit they deserve!), I think it is pretty safe to say that they did an amazing job in painting up these Mario inspired shoes! Being a guy, I am not one for buying all kinds of shoes that I don’t need and will rarely ever wear, but part of me would love to have these shoes!
Our winters can get kind of cold around here, but I have never been one for wearing a scarf. However, if I had a scarf like this awesome Final Fantasy scarf, I would wear one all winter long!
Etsy seller doctormoo is selling this awesome NES Final Fantasy scarf for $45 (which feels like a bargain for something this awesome). This Final Fantasy scarf features the characters from the game you love including the Fighter, Thief, Black Belt, White Mage, Dark Mage, and Red Mage. Just looking at this scarf makes me want to break out my NES and play some Final Fantasy this weekend!
A NES controller isn’t exactly what you think of when you think of sexy, but I would say this NES controller tattoo with a Super Mario Bros star and 1up mushroom qualifies. It doesn’t seem to be very often that I see a hip tattoo so that was one of the reasons I decided to post it (besides it being completely geeky and awesome).
Unfortunately, I don’t know who this girl is or who the tattoo artist is that made this NES controller tattoo to give them credit but I would say they both must be some pretty awesome people.
I absolutely love it when girls proudly show off their gamer side. Whether its something as simple as Mario earrings or full on cosplay, I love when women aren’t afraid to let the world know that they love video games. Perhaps the best way to do that without going all out in amazing cosplay would be with this amazing NES controller style shirt from Etsy seller morosemelonhead. For the NES loving girls out there, this awesome NES controller shirt can be yours for just $49.99! However, beware of guys that may run up to you in hopes of doing some button mashing.
Although I haven’t messed with any of the more recent Final Fantasy games, Final Fantasy on the NES was always one of my all time favorite NES games. Although I was more of a black mage kind of person in the old FF game, I did rely quite a bit on the white mage. Well, apparently there must be a lot of people like me that still think fondly of the game judging by this awesome white mage hoodie! If you are interested in this awesome Final Fantasy inspired fleece hoodie, you can buy this white mage hoodie from Etsy seller GrapeVineFires for $78.
One of my favorite games growing up was Duck Hunt on the NES. I think perhaps that may have been where I first got my love for guns. Well, I am not the only one who loves that NES classic but I am not sure I love it enough to tattoo a couple of 8-bit ducks to my chest. The guy with this tattoo is Steve McHaggis and he is apparently thinking of getting the snickering dog tattooed on his ribs to complete the Duck Hunt theme and I think this is the best tattoo idea I have ever heard! I bet the gamer girls go wild over this guy! If you have any geeky tattoos, drop us a line and tell us about them at pcnerd37 [at] globalgeeknews.com
I love all forms of cosplay but having grown up on 8-bit video games, there is a special place in my heart for some great 8-bit, 2D cosplay. This is perhaps one of the best examples of that as somebody decided to use what appears to be a bunch of cardboard to make some awesome 8-bit, 2D Legend of Zelda Link cosplay. I’d definitely say this is right up there with the 8-bit Samus cosplay I posted over on my other blog, Global Geek News. If you have seen any great 8-bit cosplay you think I should post, let me know in the comments below!
