Mind Blowing Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask Full-Back Tattoo

One of the Legend of Zelda games I really need to take the time to go back and play is Majora’s Mask.  I was obsessed with Ocarina of Time when it came out on the Nintendo 64 and I still play it on my 3DS but I never did play Majora’s Mask.  I had honestly never even knew the game until I was on to the next generation of consoles and when I did hear about it, I heard it wasn’t as good as Ocarina of Time and it was harder so I never really gave much thought to tracking the game down and giving it a try.  However, after going to the Legend of Zelda symphony and hearing some of the music from it and then seeing this incredible full-back tattoo, now I really want to go back and play the game.

This absolutely stunning Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask tattoo belongs to tumblr user TheGreatKeaton who is easily the biggest Majora’s Mask fan I have ever seen.  The tattoo’s mind blowing design was created by Krystian Marciniak and it was inked by Anson Eastin at the Forever Tattoo Parlour in Cape Coral, Florida.  Congrats to all involved for this incredible Zelda masterpiece!

Star Wars I Love You, I Know, Ring Tattoos

In the past, I have made mention of the fact that I am not one who cares for wearing rings.  In fact, it drives me crazy!  I’d be lying if I said that I’m not a little worried about ring wearing thing if I ever get married some day.  I suppose I could do like the awesome couple below did but I’m not sure I am any more fond of the idea of getting a tattoo either.  However, I think this couple did come up with a pretty cool ring tattoo idea.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure who the awesome and super geeky couple is whose hands are in the picture below but I think they may have found the ultimate way for one Star Wars fan to show another Star Wars fan just how much they love them.  These awesome Star Wars tattoo rings feature the iconic lines from Han and Leia right before Han is frozen in carbonite and they even feature a lightsaber and the Death Star.

This couple definitely hasn’t been looking for love in Alderaan places.

This Bill Murray Ghostbusters Tattoo Is Cool!

It wasn’t until a couple of years ago that I finally saw the Ghostbusters movies but I was always a huge fan of the cartoon, toys and video games as a kid (the one for the Sega Genesis was my favorite).  As much as I have loved the franchise all of my life, I’m not sure I have the dedication to do what this guy did and get Bill Murray tattooed on my chest.

While I don’t know who inked this beautifully colored Ghostbusters Peter Venkman tattoo, the guy sporting it is twitter user @Sopaguada.

Normally, I would say anybody that sports a Ghostbusters tattoo on their chest qualifies as really cool in my book, but in this case, because of the iPad selfie, I can only go so far as to say this guy is slightly cool.  I’m all for taking selfies but anybody who uses an iPad to do it loses some serious cool points.

This Silent Hill Full Back Tattoo Will Blow Your Mind and Give You Nightmares

There are a ton of gamers that absolutely love the Silent Hill games (and movies) but I have to admit I’m just not one of them.  Its not that I don’t think they are good because I am sure they are or the franchise would have died out years ago, its just that I have never been a huge fan of survival horror games.  I don’t get scared as easily as most people so anything horror related just doesn’t have much appeal to me since it doesn’t really get that reaction out of me.  That said, I have a feeling this Silent Hill tattoo might just give me nightmares.

Unfortunately, I don’t know who inked this absolutely amazing Silent Hill full back tattoo to give them the credit they definitely deserve (if you know who did or who the person is in this picture, let me know so I can give them credit) but they are one heck of a talented tattoo artist!  Without a doubt, this is one of the best looking tattoos I have ever seen if not the best.

As cool as this is, I can’t help but wonder if it was really such a good idea.  I mean, if i was in bed with this person and saw something that scary staring back at me, it would be an instant boner killer.  I’m sure there are some guys that would be into something like that but I’d venture to say they are in the minority.

This Batman Sleeve Tattoo is Amazing!

Although I don’t see myself ever getting a tattoo, I am now a huge fan of well done tattoos even though I found them repulsive for most of my life.  Speaking of well done tattoos, I think I have found a rather incredible Batman tattoo you guys are going to love.

At the end of last year, I posted an incredible tattoo of Batman punching the Joker on one guys side.  Well, I have come across another incredible and extremely detailed Batman tattoo but this one is in the form of a sleeve tattoo rather than on somebody’s side.

I’m not sure who this lucky fellow is that got this amazing work of Batman comic book art tattooed on his arm but this was inked by Ian at Ian Ink Tattoo.  I’d say Ian is one heck of a talented tattoo artist!

The coloring and detail is amazing!  I can’t even imagine how long it took to make this sleeve but it was definitely worth it.

An Impressive Star Trek Back Tattoo

Around a half dozen years ago or so, I was at a local sci-fi convention (which I attend almost every year) when I saw an extremely well done pair of Star Trek tattoos on a women that was walking around the convention.  On one side of her back she had Spock and the other she had Captain Picard.  That was the first time in my life that I ever really liked a tattoo because until then, I didn’t know they could look so nice.  I guess the tattoo artists where I live just suck but ever since then, I have enjoyed seeing pictures of really well done, geeky tattoos.

Speaking of well done Star Trek tattoos, I came across this very impressive Star Trek tattoo while browsing the Star Trek section on Reddit the other day and I thought I should share it.

I’m not sure who this person is or who the artist was that did the work (if you know who they are, let me know in the comments below so I can give them credit), but I am impressed!  It is not every day you see a giant Star Trek tattoo on somebody’s back featuring Spock, Kirk, Picard and Data.

As much as I love Star Trek, this would never be something I would do.  However, if I lost my mind and decided to do something like this, I would probably go with the cast of DS9 on my back since that is my favorite Star Trek.

Stunning Super Mario Bros Tattoo [pics]

Most people don’t know this little fact about me, but I used to be utterly repulsed by tattoos of any kind regardless of where they were on the body or how big they were.

I always used to prefer the look of plain skin to tattoos of whatever and to an extent that is still true.  However, I think part of my original dislike of tattoos was that I has just never seen any that were really well done (I guess the tattoo artists and prison inmates in my area suck at doing decent looking tattoos).  It wasn’t until I went to a local sci-fi convention and saw a women with an an incredibly well done Spock tattoo on one shoulder blade and an equally good looking Picard tattoo on the other that I realized they could actually be pretty cool.  Now I have come to really enjoy them (assuming they are well done).

Well, speaking of tattoos that are well done, I think this Super Mario Bros tattoo on this persons leg has to be one of if not the best Mario tattoos I have ever seen!  The color is perhaps the best I have seen on ANY tattoo as well!

Unfortunately, I don’t know who this leg belongs to or who the tattoo artist was that inked this work of gaming art so if you know who they are, please let me know in the comments below so we can give them credit!

I suspect you would have a rather difficult time finding another gaming franchise that people love more than Legend of Zelda.  I have been playing the many Legend of Zelda games my entire life and I still enjoy playing them occasionally.  As much as I love the gameplay, it is the music that has made me fall in love with the games.  Well, while I love the games, some people have a bit more dedication than I do.

Recently, I posted a pretty impressive Legend of Zelda back tattoo featuring the Hylian Shield, Master Sword and Triforce as well as a shoulder / arm tattoo that focused on the Wind Waker Zelda game.  Well, now we have another very impressive back tattoo to add to the collection!

This very impressive Legend of Zelda inspired tattoo was created by Alie K. at Archive tattoos Toronto, ON.  I’d say she did a great job with it!  I am very impressed by how it turned out and I love the use of color.

This Legend of Zelda Back Tattoo is Impressive [pic]

I love the Legend of Zelda games as much as any Nintendo fanboy but there are limits as to what I will do to show my love for the game.  I draw the line at the Legend of Zelda hat and shirt that I like to wear as well as the Twilight Princess wallet that I carry with me.  However, there are people that are perhaps a bit more dedicated to the franchise than I am and will go to crazy lengths like permanently inking their body to demonstrate their passion.  While I have seen many cool Legend of Zelda tattoos, I don’t think I have ever come across any quite like this.

DeviantART user JMan31337 if the guy that is sporting this awesome Legend of Zelda Hylian Shield, Hylian Sword and Triforce tattoo across his back.  This tattoo took 9 hours of work to create and I think it turned out quite well!

While I may not have the courage to endure that kind of pain to show off my love for the Legend of Zelda games, I solute this guy for doing it.

Event though I have been a huge Legend of Zelda fan all of my life, I have never been able to bring myself to play Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker on the GameCube because of the cartoony style that Nintendo decided to use for that game.  My opinion about that has changed recently and I am now open to playing it but as memory serves my GameCube controller is broken so I will have to pick up another one on Ebay or something.  However, until then, I can appreciate this amazing Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker inspired tattoo!

DeviantART user ShannonRitchie who is apparently a tattoo artist as well, inked this fabulous Legend of Zelda tattoo.  I’d say they are obviously a very skilled tattoo artist so if you are in the area and looking to get something cool like this inked on you, head to Tuff City in the Bronx.

Whoever decided to get this tattoo is a bigger Zelda fan than me as all I do is occasionally wear a Legend of Zelda cap and carry a Twilight Princess wallet.
