Beautiful Diablo III Demon Hunter Cosplay

Despite rumors to the contrary, Fanboy Fashion is not dead!  I simply haven’t had the time for it lately like I used to although I think that is about to change.  Anyway, when I saw this great Diablo III Demon Hunter cosplay, I knew I had to share it with you!  In the past, I have posted a couple of great Demon Hunter cosplays (like this one and this one), but the cosplay below is my favorite so far.  Not only does the cosplay look great, but I am really loving the photography too!

I spotted this fantastic Diablo III female Demon Hunter cosplay on the official Diablo III Facebook page yesterday.  The cosplayer in these pictures is FreiaRaven and the photographer that took these beautiful shots is Photographer Eva.  I’m impressed with how great these photos are!  I especially appreciate the great lighting and church setting.

Stunning Legend of Zelda Cosplay Dress

There are times I get a bit jealous of all of the awesome geeky clothes that are made for women and this would definitely be one of them.  I have some pretty cool Legend of Zelda t-shirts but they can’t compare to this amazing Legend of Zelda cosplay dress!

Etsy seller Frockasaurus is selling this incredible custom hand-made Legend of Zelda cosplay dress for $513.35.  These dresses are made to order so you can request whatever size you need.  As for details about the dress, here is what they said:

This particular costume is made from 100% cotton, trimmed with crushed gold lamé and gold leatherette. Fully lined in polyester cotton, with 3 layers of net underskirting. Boned bodice, back zip fastening with corset effect lacing over the top. Top stitched in gold thread.

If you are a Legend of Zelda fan who happens to be looking for something to where to a con or even perhaps a renaissance fair but don’t want to deal with the hassle of making your own outfit, this might be just what you have been looking for!  Heck, this would even make for a nice non-traditional wedding dress for a really big Zelda fan.

If you happen to order one of these dresses, send us pictures of you wearing it!  I love to see my readers enjoying the things I post about!

Amazing Diablo Demon Hunter Cosplay

Once in a great while, I get the urge to play a little Diablo III and I recently had one of those urges hit me so a couple of weeks ago I finished yet another play through of Diablo III.  It seems to get easier every time I play it but it is still a lot of fun and a good story.  Well, speaking of Diablo III, I would say that judging by this amazing Demon Hunter cosplay, I am not the only one who still enjoys the game.

This stunning Diablo inspired female Demon Hunter cosplay pictured below was created by Tessa Kristine Cosplay.  Perhaps the most amazing thing is that this is only her second cosplay!  With as good as this looks, I would think that she is a veteran of the cosplay world.

Speaking of Demon Hunter cosplay, if you like this, you should check out the previous female Demon Hunter cosplay I posted about.  And if that still isn’t enough for you, do a search for Diablo cosplay on the right to see all of the amazing Diablo cosplay I have posted about in the past.

Show Your 8-Bit Love With This NES Controller Ring

At this point, I think you are all pretty familiar with my dislike of wearing things like rings because I feel they get in the way and are too restrictive, not to mention my fear of never being able to get them off once I get them on.  However, I still enjoy looking at and posting about really cool rings that I happen to come across while I am browsing my favorite websites.  Speaking of cool rings, I think I have found one that any fan of the Nintendo NES console will love!  And yes, I know saying Nintendo NES is redundant but I feel like it is the style I want to write in for once so deal with it! 😛

Etsy seller mooredesign13 is selling these handmade NES controller rings for just $200!  The rings feature the NES controller on a brick pattern with rubies as the A and B buttons.  The ring itself is made of sterling silver.

If you decide to order one of these, be warned that the smallest they can make is a size 9 because otherwise the A and B buttons are too small to set the ruby stones in.

Rings like this make me really wish I liked wearing rings because I would love to wear an NES controller around my finger.

NES Controller Baseball Cap

Depending on how long you have been a reader here at Fanboy Fashion or my other site, Global Geek News, you may or may not know that I never leave the house without a hat and I grew up playing the Nintendo Entertainment System.  Well, somebody has finally combined those two things and created a baseball cap style hat with an NES controller embroidered on it!  I might not need a new hat since I just got a new God of War hat that I just started wearing but I think my next has is likely to be this cool NES Controller hat, something I would recommend for anybody else out there that also spent much of their lives with the NES!

The incredibly nerdy people over at SuperHeroStuff are selling this sweet grey Nintendo Entertainment System controller hat for just $21.99!  The hat is a snapback hat so you can adjust it to fit your head which in my experience is a lot better than those hats with elastic (like my God of War cap of which I am on my third one because I love the design so much), which take no time to wear out and suddenly even the lightest gust of wind can steal the cap from your head like the playground bully you hated in school.

Snoopy Meets Duck Hunt in This Great Mashup T-Shirt

It has been many years since I have played Duck Hunt on the NES but I still have nightmares of that stupid dog mocking me whenever I missed the ducks.  However, I think that dog would be a lot harder to hate if that dog was Snoopy and the bird I am hunting is Woodstock although why would I ever want to hunt Woodstock?!  Well, if you like the idea of mixing the NES classic Duck Hunt with the classic cartoon Peanuts, then I think I have found a great mashup t-shirt for you!

The great folks over at BustedTees are selling this Snoop Hunt t-shirt for just $20!  If you loved both Duck Hunt and Snoopy growing up like I did (and still do), then this is the shirt for you!

I have a feeling that if you get this shirt, you will get a lot of compliments from both Duck Hunt and Snoopy fans.  I know whenever I wear one of my mashup t-shirts out that combines things like Star Wars with Donkey Kong or the Super Mario Bros with Doctor Who, I constantly have people giving me compliments on the cool shirts.  If you like getting compliments from people, a shirt like this will definitely get them!

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Athena Cosplay

Although I have never got around to finishing any of the Borderlands games, from the time I have spent at least with the first one, I think they are quite good.  Perhaps if my schedule will allow, I will get around to finishing the first game so that when the pre-sequel comes out in October, I can play it before going into the sequel since that seems to be the most logical order to play them in.  Until then, some great Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel cosplay should wet the appetite for the upcoming game!

The stunning and very detailed Athena cosplay from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel was done by the cosplayer It’s Raining Neon.  Apparently she is also responsible for her own photography here which is even more impressive!  I’m not sure how long this stunning cosplay took to make but it was definitely worth every second of effort!

Speaking of Borderlands cosplay, if you like this, you should definitely check out the Borderlands cel shaded jeans that I posted last week because they will blow you away!

What are you most looking forward to about the new game?  Let us know in the comments below!

Female Link Cosplay from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

It seems like every time I find some good female Link or Princess Zelda cosplay to post, I am always asking myself if I post it too often.  I have posted some great female Link cosplay in the past such as this female Link cosplay and this one just to give a couple of examples.  But I wonder if maybe I do it too often?  I kind of feel like I do but then I remember just how much I love women with pointy ears and then I stop caring and post more.  Well, I found some more great female Link cosplay inspired by Ocarina of Time and thanks to the fact that I am a sucker for pointy ears, here is yet another female Link cosplay post!

This lovely lady Link cosplay is done by the cosplayer Lolita Zombie and these cool pictures were taken by Photographers in Philadelphia.  I think the pictures fit nicely with the cosplay even if she doesn’t really feel in the environments (Photoshop can’t make everything look natural).  I especially like the inclusion of Navi in the one picture.

Great Pokémon Officer Jenny Cosplay

One of the things I always thought was a bit silly when I used to watch the Pokemon cartoons (back before they introduced a ton of new Pokemon I just couldn’t bring myself to care about) was that every city had a Nurse Joy and an Officer Jenny.  It seemed like kind of an odd element in the show but still cool to see the same characters everywhere.  However, I’m guessing most people weren’t as intrigued by the idea as I was because I don’t think I have seen cosplay of either of them until today.

Cosplayer Siren’s Belle is the beautiful girl sporting this great Officer Jenny cosplay. I think she does a great job bringing the cartoon character to life although I can’t help but think that it would be better if she had Officer Jenny’s Growlithe with her.  Seeing one without the other just feels a little odd but since Growlithe isn’t real, I guess its not a big deal.  Also, the photography is pretty good which was done by Beethy.

Now I really feel the urge to go watch the old Pokemon cartoon.  Off to Netflix I go!

Princess Zelda and Princess Hilda Cosplay

While I appreciate great cosplay of all types, Zelda cosplay is probably my favorite.  In general, I think the costumes tend to be more elegant than others and if you have been reading Fanboy Fashion or my other sites like Global Geek News for a while, you know I have a major pointy ear fetish.  Well, apparently it is my lucky day because I came across some amazing Princess Zelda and Princess Hilda cosplay inspired by Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

The two stunningly beautiful cosplayers are Mandalynn (Princess Zelda) and Guhzoontight (Princess Hilda).  The photographer who took some truly awesome shots with these two is Alexis McNichol.

Perhaps the most impressive part of this amazing cosplay is that it was Mandalynn’s first cosplay and Guhzoontight’s second so its not like they are even pros at this.  I’m not sure how much time they spent making this cosplay but I’d say it was well worth it as both costumes turned out looking fabulous!

This has inspired me to put Watch Dogs on hold for a little bit just so I can finish the last half of A Link Between Worlds because it really is a great game.
