This Incredible Medieval Joker Armor Will Give You Nightmares

Having grown up playing games like Age of Empires, I’ve always thought medieval armor can be pretty cool although I never thought that it could also be really creepy.  Well, when the Batman universe collides with medieval armor, it can make for one heck of a scary looking Joker!  I am seriously worried that I may have this show up in my dreams tonight and that is not something I look forward to.

This stunning (and creepy) medieval Joker armor was created by Prince Armory.  This leather Joker armor is functional and consists of a jester’s helmet with Joker mask, breastplate, drama face pauldrons, jester’s war skirt, cuisses/knees/greaves, and articulated jester shoe sabatons.  All of it appears to be very well done!  I wonder how much time went into this incredible Joker armor because it obviously required a lot of it to get this level of quality and detail.

Even if it is just leather, if I met somebody looking like this on the battlefield, you can bet I would be running the other direction!

Crocheted Bane Mask

It wasn’t until a few weeks ago that I finally got a chance to watch the latest Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises (despite going to see it on opening night which is a long story) but I thought it was pretty good.  I found the Bane character to be quite interesting although I really didn’t think the voice matched the look of the character.  Then again I’m not a fan of the Batman voice either so what do I know?

Anyway, I stumbled upon this really cool mask that I am sure the Bane fans are going to love.

Etsy seller StitchFinderGeneral is selling this awesome crocheted Bane mask for $91.95.  Because it is so awesome, it is apparently selling so well that there is now a 4 month long waiting list just to get one.  If you decide to get one, the seller says to contact them first so keep that in mind if you decide to get one of these crocheted Bane masks.

This would make for a great mask Halloween so that is something to think about if you are interested in being Bane this year.

Steampunk Poison Ivy Cosplay [pic]

Is there some new obsession with Poison Ivy that nobody has told me about?  Over the past month or so, I have been seeing all kinds of great Poison Ivy cosplay.  However, this is the first steampunk Poison Ivy that I think I have come across and it is pretty cool!  I love the combination of steampunk and anything else so its safe to say this gets two thumbs up from me!

This awesome steampunk Poison Ivy cosplay is being sported by Rikkux12.  The sexy yet tasteful pictures were taken by Robbins Studios.  Between the cosplay and the photography, this is full of awesomeness.  The world needs more Batman universe inspired steampunk cosplay!

Lady Loki Cosplay [pics]

For those that are huge fans of the Avengers and the movie Thor, I figured you would enjoy this cool female Loki cosplay.  I’m not sure where these pictures were taken, but I know I would probably freak out if I was just walking along and saw Loki out and about.

This great Loki cosplayer is some awesome woman by the name of Rosemary.  I like how she appears to be forcing some guy to kneel to her in the second picture.  As cool as the Loki cosplay is in this picture, I don’t think I can recall Loki ever wearing heels in the movies.  At least they seem to go with the costume pretty well!

Amazing Harley Quinn Body Paint [pics]

Although I occasionally come across some body paint that is very well done, I am generally not a huge fan of it compared to actual clothes.  I suppose some guys like it because you are basically looking at a naked lady but with the paint covering everything up, it just doesn’t do it for me.  However, this is one of those times when the body paint is beyond amazing!

This spectacular Harley Quinn body paint is being sported by Abby Tymchakers for Joey D’s (the photographer) upcoming 2013 body paint calender.  I’ve never considered buying a body paint calender before but this Harley Quinn body paint (done by Allyson Averell) is so good that I might just buy one!

When I hear that the calender has gone on sale, I will update this post for anybody interested in buying one.

Awesome Harley Quinn Cosplay [pic]

I’m not really sure I can put my finger on why, but Harley Quinn has always been my favorite character from the Batman universe.  Perhaps, it is because she inspires some awesome cosplay like the one in the picture below!

DeviantART user Lie-chee is the person sporting the awesome Harley Quinn cosplay in this picture which was photographed by fellow DeviantART user cannedcolors.  I would say this Harley Quinn cosplay turned out pretty good!  I think even Batman would be impressed!
