This Star Wars Wookie Photobomb T-Shirt is Awesome!

Even though I love seeing funny photobombed pictures like everybody else, I have never had the guts to photobomb somebody.  I’m just not comfortable with the idea of ruining the special moment somebody is trying to capture by acting like an idiot.  Whenever I see somebody trying to take a picture, I do the polite thing and move out of the way until they are done.  Maybe some day I will do it but I just don’t think that is me as I tend to adhere pretty closely to the idea of treating others how I would like to be treated.  Anyway, speaking of funny photobombs, if you are a Star Wars fan, then I suspect you will love this funny shirt of Chewbacca photobombing Darth Vader and a couple of Stormtroopers with a giant #1 Rebels foam finger like you would see at a sports event.

The nerdy folks over at 80sTees are selling this hilarious Wookie Photobomb T-Shirt for $22.  Whether you are a Chewbacca or Darth Vader fan, I have a feeling that as long as you love Star Wars and have a sense of humor, you will love this shirt!  Also, this tee is tagless for those that care about such things.

These Ewok lips are weird but awesome!

I’ve seen people do all sorts of cool makeup jobs with their eyes and stuff (like the Riddler eye makeup and the Spider-Man eye makeup I have posted in the past), but never have I seen or even heard of lip makeup.  As well done and cool as these Ewok lips are, I really hope this isn’t a trend that catches on because its just a little too weird for me.  No matter how geeky the lips may be, I just don’t seen myself seeing lip makeup like this and saying ‘I got to get me some of that!’  Please tell me I am not alone in feeling this way!

Fashion trend of not, these Ewok lips are still great and they were made by special effects makeup artist Crystal Effin Overland.  She is clearly quite talented with makeup!  I can’t even imagine how much restraint it took to not accidentally lick her lips and ruin this work of Ewok art.  I don’t think I could do it because I am slightly crazy about how my lips feel at all times.  I’m weird like that but I’m sure you have your quirks too!

Star Trek: The Next Generation Uniform Onesies

Maybe its because I’m not a big fan of babies, but I’ve never been one to go crazy about cute baby outfits like many people I know.  Generally speaking, I think the prices that baby outfits cost is insane, especially when they only fit in them for such a short amount of time.  It just doesn’t feel like you really get your moneys worth.  However, I managed to come across a onesie that it not only fairly reasonably priced, but it is the perfect for any Star Trek fan!

The amazing Star Trek lovers over at ThinkGeek are selling these adorable Star Trek: The Next Generation uniform onesies for just $19.99!  They come in red, blue and gold and in a variety of sizes ranging from 6 to 18 months.  There is no guarantee that your kid will grow up to love Star Trek: The Next Generation as much as you do but with a onesie like this, I’d say you have improved your odds.  But be warned, referring to your baby by their rank in public might result in people making fun of you.

Star Trek Athletic Hats

If you ever see me in person, chances are you will never see me without a hat on.  Largely due to my very light sensitive eyes, I never leave the house without a hat and sunglasses on.  As a result, people tend to see me as someone who never takes their hat off.  Being a hat guy, I usually go through about 2-3 hats a year because they get dirty, sweat stained and rather disgusting after about 6 months or so.  While I still have several months of use left on the God of War hat I have been sporting, I’ve been on the hunt for its replacement and that is when I came across these cool Star Trek athletic hats.

The incredible folks over at ThinkGeek are selling these awesome Star Trek athletic hats for $24.99!  You have the choice of red, blue or gold and they are adjustable with a clip and pull tab in the back.

One of these hats is definitely going to be my next hat, I just can’t decide which one I want!  I’m debating between either red or blue.  If you get one of these hats, let me know in the comments below which color you go with!

This Star Trek Ring Boldly Goes Where No Ring Has Gone Before

When I see rings like the one below, it really makes me wish that I could stand to wear rings.  Anybody who knows me knows that I don’t like to have anything on my fingers.  It doesn’t feel comfortable for me and it just seems like it is getting in the way.  However, the main reason why I don’t wear any kind of ring and never will is because I have a fear that once I put it on, I will never be able to get it off.  I guess I have just seen too many people with rings that have had their fingers fatten up to the point that they couldn’t take the ring off if they wanted to and I don’t want to be one of those people.  But, just because I will never wear a ring, doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate cool ones when I see them and this Star Trek engagement ring is definitely one of the coolest ones I have seen!

This stunning Star Trek inspired ring was made by the very talented jewelry designer Paul Michael of Paul Michael Designs.  And, if you happen to be looking for that perfect ring to propose to that special Star Trek fan in your life, you are in luck because this ring is available for sale!

You can get this awesome Star Trek engagement ring over on Etsy for as little as $595.  Of course, depending on your choice of metal used and whether you want a diamond or topaz stone, it can go as high as $3,890.

If you decide to boldly go and propose with this awesome ring, send some pictures to us because we would love to share your story!

War Doctor Timey Wimey T-Shirt

Considering the fact that I have dozens of Doctor Who t-shirts (right now I am wearing one with Super Mario trying to steal the plunger thing off of a Dalek), it is a little odd that I don’t have any featuring the War Doctor.  I suppose that could be because until now, I don’t think I have seen any shirts with the War Doctor on it.  Well, if you are like me and happen to be in desperate need of a t-shirt featuring Grandad, I have stumbled upon the perfect shirt for you!

The folks over at Hot Topic are selling this War Doctor Timey Wimey? t-shirt for just $16.40 which is 20% off of the normal $20.50 thanks to a site wide 20% off sale going on right now.  So unless you like paying more for what you buy, I’d pick this shirt up now before the sale ends!

Its unfortunate that we didn’t get to see more of John Hurt’s Doctor because I rather liked him in the 50th anniversary special.  I think he did a great job with it.  However, if I had my choice of which Doctor would get more episodes, I’d really like to see more of Paul McGann because I think I could really like him.  That leads me to the question, which Doctor do you wish we got to see more of?  Let me know in the comments below!

The Ultimate Whovian T-Shirt

Some of my favorite people are those who love something so much that they aren’t afraid to show it in what they wear.  That kind of goes without saying on a blog called Fanboy Fashion but sometimes it can be helpful to point out the obvious.  Of course it would be kind of silly if I wasn’t one of these people myself!  I am one of those people about many things ranging from retro video game consoles to Battlestar Galactica.  Well, without a doubt, the franchise I demonstrate my love for the most with the things I wear is Doctor Who.  Considering I am wearing one of my dozens (yes, dozens!) of Doctor Who shirts while I am writing this should give you an idea for just how much I love it.

Are you a big Doctor Who enthusiast like I am?  If so, you should definitely be sporting one of these Whovian t-shirts!

The fantastic folks over at TShirtBordello are selling this cool Whovian t-shirt for just $14.99 (more for bigger sizes)!  It features all kinds of iconic Doctor Who related aliens and items ranging from the TARDIS and Sonic Screwdriver (because what Whovian shirt would be complete without them) to K-9 and the Pandorica!  This shirt is sure to bring back a ton of fond Doctor Who memories for any Whovian that sees it!

Speaking of Whovians that see this shirt, I have this shirt myself and wear it often and whenever I run into a Doctor Who fan in a restaurant or at the gas station or wherever, they are always complimenting me on the fantastic shirt so I can say with confidence that this shirt will bring you a lot of attention from fellow Whovians!

Cute TARDIS A-Line Dress

Have you ever wanted to go out on the town looking like the TARDIS?  Well, if you are a woman or at least a cross dressing dude, now you can!  Who says the only time you can wear something like this is at a convention?!  This TARDIS dress is perfect for wearing to almost anything from a date to a wedding.  Well, perhaps I wouldn’t advise wearing it to a wedding because unless you are the bride, you will probably attract more attention than the bride with a dress like this and taking the spotlight away from the bride on her wedding day is not the smartest idea.  However, if you are going to a Doctor Who themed wedding, I’d still say go for it!  Actually, the thought of all of the brides maids wearing TARDIS dresses sounds like a pretty cool idea!  Anyway…

The cool geeks over at ThinkGeek are selling this cute TARDIS A-line dress for just $39.99.  Also, if you can find a little something else there to buy, you can get 10% off your order of $40 or more this weekend with the coupon code ‘CLIPPY’ (Good thru 4/6/14).  This dress is 100% cotton, machine washable and made in the good ol’ USA instead of by kids in China.  Don’t forget to check the size chart too if you want to make sure you get the size of dress that best fits you.

I think if you really want to complete the outfit, the best way you can do that with some exploding TARDIS heels.  However, I should note that my sense of fashion sucks so perhaps I’m not the person you should be looking to when it comes to what shoes match this dress.  Still, I like the idea.

Doctor Who Doctor Selfie and Let’s Play Doctor Shirts $11 Today!

It hasn’t been easy, but lately I have cut back quite a bit on the number of t-shirts I buy because I have already outgrown my closet and have a stack of shirts as tall as my ceiling so the last thing I need is more shirts.  However, when I come across cool Doctor Who shirts like the ones below, I just can’t fight that temptation.  The Let’s Play shirt isn’t really my style as I am not much of one for the cartoony look but I rather like the selfie shirt that is a play on the famous Oscar selfie.

The awesome folks over at TeeFury are doing one of their twofury sales where they put two shirts against each other and today they are selling these cool Doctor Selfie and Let’s Play Doctor t-shirts for just $11.

Currently, the selfie shirt appears to be outselling the other shirt by around 2:1 so it looks like I’m not the only one who prefers it.  If you get one or both of these shirts, let us know in the comments below which one you bought.  I’m always interested in knowing what my readers like so I know what to post more of in the future.

Awesome Star Trek: The Next Generation Fingernail Art

Its been quite a while since I have posted some cool fingernail art so when I was browsing reddit and came across this amazing Star Trek: The Next Generation fingernail art, I knew I had to post about it!  I’ve always preferred the Deep Space Nine uniforms but I think these actually look better as fingernail art than DS9 uniforms would.  However, I’d still like to see some DS9 fingernail art if anybody out there is up to the challenge.  But, until somebody does that, lets talk about this awesome TNG fingernail art!

This amazing Star Trek: The Next Generation uniform nail art was done by reddit user feelslikeawoman.  While I think she did a heck of a job with this nail art, I think I am most impressed by the fact that those are real nails rather than fake ones.  I think she must have hit the genetic fingernail lottery!  I can’t say that long nails are my thing but I can certainly appreciate how rare it is for somebody to be able to have natural nails that can get that long.
