Geek Tees

I don’t think I ever announced it here on Fanboy Fashion like I did my other site, Global Geek News, but I now have my own nerdy clothing store called Geek Tees!  There are tons of amazing designs, many of which I own and wear all the time myself and I am constantly adding new designs.

Anyway, if you are in the market for some geeky clothing whether it is for the Legend of Zelda, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Futurama just to name a few, you should definitely be shopping at Geek Tees!

Through Friday, everything is on sale at Geek Tees too!  All t-shirts which are normally $20 are marked down to just $14!  You can also pick up tank tops, crewnecks and hoodies for $18, $30 and $35 respectively as well!

Whether you are looking for something for yourself or for somebody else as a gift, now would be the time to shop since sales like these don’t come around very often!

Make sure to check out Geek Tees regularly to see all of the cool clothing designs that I add to keep things fresh.

Cute TARDIS A-Line Dress

Have you ever wanted to go out on the town looking like the TARDIS?  Well, if you are a woman or at least a cross dressing dude, now you can!  Who says the only time you can wear something like this is at a convention?!  This TARDIS dress is perfect for wearing to almost anything from a date to a wedding.  Well, perhaps I wouldn’t advise wearing it to a wedding because unless you are the bride, you will probably attract more attention than the bride with a dress like this and taking the spotlight away from the bride on her wedding day is not the smartest idea.  However, if you are going to a Doctor Who themed wedding, I’d still say go for it!  Actually, the thought of all of the brides maids wearing TARDIS dresses sounds like a pretty cool idea!  Anyway…

The cool geeks over at ThinkGeek are selling this cute TARDIS A-line dress for just $39.99.  Also, if you can find a little something else there to buy, you can get 10% off your order of $40 or more this weekend with the coupon code ‘CLIPPY’ (Good thru 4/6/14).  This dress is 100% cotton, machine washable and made in the good ol’ USA instead of by kids in China.  Don’t forget to check the size chart too if you want to make sure you get the size of dress that best fits you.

I think if you really want to complete the outfit, the best way you can do that with some exploding TARDIS heels.  However, I should note that my sense of fashion sucks so perhaps I’m not the person you should be looking to when it comes to what shoes match this dress.  Still, I like the idea.

Every Whovian Should Wear This 18″ TARDIS Necklace

It has been a while since I have worn a necklace since my chains keep breaking and getting so short it is starting to get uncomfortable, but I am often known for wearing something around my neck.  I know it is rather unusual for a guy that isn’t a rapper or pimp to wear a necklace of some sort but I enjoy it as another way of expressing my geeky side.  Usually, I wear dog tags for Call of Duty or Gears of War but lately I have been wanting something a little different, even though I get tons of comments from fellow gamers on those.  I think I have finally found what I am looking for with this awesome TARDIS necklace!

The awesome Whovians over at ThinkGeek are selling this fantastic 18″ TARDIS necklace for just $14.99!  Also, if you order this by 11:59pm PT on 12/12/13, you can get free shipping (no minimum) in the continental US with the coupon code “FREEREINDEER”.  For those that live in Hawaii, Alaska or internationally, aren’t left out of this deal but you will need the coupon code “LONGFLIGHT”.

Whether you are a big Doctor Who fan interested in wearing a TARDIS around your neck or are looking for a cool Christmas gift for a Whovian in your life, this is what you have been looking for!

Awesome Swarovski Crystal Encrusted Batman Heels

If the pictures I have seen are any indication, I suspect all of the Fanboy Fashion readers have descended on the San Diego Comic Con even this weekend so I am not even sure I should bother with this post since I doubt anybody will see it but since I am stuck at home since I couldn’t afford to go to SDCC this year, I might as well and just hope that people pass this post around the show floor and maybe I can get a few new readers.

Speaking of things you might see around the San Diego Comic Con, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if you spotted some lady walking around in awesome Batman heels like these.

Etsy seller WickedAddiction is selling these incredible Swarovski crystal encrusted Batman Heels for $175.  This pair of Batman high heels are hand painted and covered with more than 2000 Swarovski crystals.  The price may seem a little steep but when you think about the time and effort involved in the painting and placing of more than 2000 crystals, this almost feels like a bargain.

Too bad they don’t have shoes like these for guys because I have always wanted a pair of Batman shoes that say “BIFF!” and “KAPOW!”

These Star Wars Wedge Shoes Are Amazing!

Maybe its just a guy thing but I don’t think I will ever understand why women like wearing wedge shoes or high heel shoes.  They just look ridiculously uncomfortable and frankly, I find it to be a bit deceptive.  They make you look taller than you really are and your butt look better than it really is and I find that to be a bit deceitful.  Maybe I’m the only guy that feels that way but I like women who are comfortable with who they are and not who they wish they were.  Anyway, enough of my rant.

If you are the wedge shoe wearing type and a big Star Wars fan, I think I have found the shoes for you!

Etsy seller DeckoFab is selling these one-of-a-kind Star Wars themed wedge shoes for just $115!  Apparently they also take custom orders as well that are decoupaged using your favorite comics, magazines, pictures or fabric.

I wish there were tennis shoes that looked like this because I would be all over them!  To each their own I suppose.

This R2-D2 Corset is the Droid You Have Been Looking For

To be honest, I have never really cared much for corsets on women.  I know a lot of guys like them because it make the boobs jump out and say “Howdy!” but I just can’t get over how uncomfortable they look and what they do to your insides.  To give you an idea of what I mean, check out the x-rays of women wearing corsets that I came across on Monday.  I have a feeling those pictures may turn some of you off to them now too but for those that still love them and have a love for Star Wars, I have found the droid corset you are looking for!

Etsy seller pendragoncostumes is selling this nerdy R2-D2 corset for $195. They come in sizes 0-20 and take 6-8 weeks to make so keep that in mind in case you are thinking about ordering one for your next sci-fi convention.

Even though I am not a corset loving kind of guy, I admit I still think this design is pretty cool!  That said, the price feels high to me.  I’ve never looked at prices for corsets before since I have no desire to wear one (although it might make me the first guy ever to do so) but that feels like a lot for something that covers less of the body than my $10 t-shirt does.  I know that is comparing apples to oranges but I think it gets my point across.  Is that a high price?  How much do you usually spend on corsets?  I am very curious to know so let me know in the comments below!

Even Men Would Want To Carry This Legend of Zelda Purse [pics]

One of the nice things about being a guy is that I don’t have to worry about carrying a purse full of crap everywhere I go.  Instead, I just load up my pockets with a ridiculous amount of stuff ranging from my Nintendo 3DS to a small leatherman.  When I need to carry bigger items I have a backpack I use but most of the time everything I need just fits in my pockets.

I have long thought that the very small number of guys that carry a man purse or man’s bag or whatever you want to call it are somewhat silly looking when they carry it around but after seeing the Legend of Zelda purse below, it doesn’t seem like such a silly idea anymore.

Etsy seller DisturbinglyAdorable (a fitting name) is selling this adorable Legend of Zelda purse for just $34.99.  Whether you are a woman that loves the Legend of Zelda games or just a guy that doesn’t mind carrying a purse, I think this is the purse for you!

As cool as this is, I think I am going to have to pass on this myself just because I don’t want to be known as the “purse guy.”  For now, I will just stick with my awesome Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess wallet.

Cute Doctor Who Skirt [pic]

With the return of Doctor Who later this week, I figured it now would be a great time to post some cool Doctor Who clothing.  For the TARDIS loving ladies out there interested in celebrating the return of new Doctor Who episodes, I have found a skirt that I think you are going to love!  In the past I posted a skirt that was a giant TARDIS but unlike that one, this one has a bunch of TARDIS’ and Timelord writing!

Etsy seller NerdAlertCreations is selling this awesome Doctor Who skirt with a bunch of TARDIS’ on it for just $45.  The skirt measures 18″ in length (21″ possible) and fits from small to extra-large.  If you are looking to catch the eye of that special Whovian in your life, wearing this is sure to do that!

If you do get this skirt, be sure to send us pictures of you wearing it!  We would love to see!

Ladies’ Doctor Who Low Cut Socks

It is very unfortunate that guys don’t have much choice when it comes to sock designs.  For the most part, we have just solid color socks and some of them might even have a logo or gold toe on them but that is about it.  I find it somewhat annoying considering women seem to get all of the cool socks like these awesome Doctor Who low cut ladies socks.  I want a version for guys!

For the Doctor Who loving ladies out there, you will be pleased to know that ThinkGeek is selling this 3-pack of Doctor Who low cut ladies socks for just $14.99.  For that very reasonable price, you get a pair of Dalek socks, TARDIS socks and Cyberman socks.  If you are a woman who considers herself a Whovian, you definitely need these socks!

Although I’m not sure I would care to wear pink socks, I would still love to have a pair of Cyberman socks like these!  Lucky women…

Awesome Worms Fingernail Art [pic]

It seems like it has been a while since I have posted any cool fingernail art so when I saw this Worms fingernail art (one of my all time favorite games), I knew I needed to post it.  For as fun as the Worms games are, I feel like they don’t seem to get the recognition they deserve which is why I like to post anything Worms related when I get the chance.

This fantastic Worms fingernail art was created by Nail It Hot.  I’d say they did a pretty spectacular job with this fingernail art although I don’t recall ever seeing an axe in any of the Worms games.  I  never played the 3D versions so I suppose its possible, but if it was me, I would have gone with something slightly more iconic to the Worms games like the super sheep or the holy hand grenade.   It still looks cool though!
