Star Trek: The Next Generation Uniform Onesies

Maybe its because I’m not a big fan of babies, but I’ve never been one to go crazy about cute baby outfits like many people I know.  Generally speaking, I think the prices that baby outfits cost is insane, especially when they only fit in them for such a short amount of time.  It just doesn’t feel like you really get your moneys worth.  However, I managed to come across a onesie that it not only fairly reasonably priced, but it is the perfect for any Star Trek fan!

The amazing Star Trek lovers over at ThinkGeek are selling these adorable Star Trek: The Next Generation uniform onesies for just $19.99!  They come in red, blue and gold and in a variety of sizes ranging from 6 to 18 months.  There is no guarantee that your kid will grow up to love Star Trek: The Next Generation as much as you do but with a onesie like this, I’d say you have improved your odds.  But be warned, referring to your baby by their rank in public might result in people making fun of you.

Star Trek Athletic Hats

If you ever see me in person, chances are you will never see me without a hat on.  Largely due to my very light sensitive eyes, I never leave the house without a hat and sunglasses on.  As a result, people tend to see me as someone who never takes their hat off.  Being a hat guy, I usually go through about 2-3 hats a year because they get dirty, sweat stained and rather disgusting after about 6 months or so.  While I still have several months of use left on the God of War hat I have been sporting, I’ve been on the hunt for its replacement and that is when I came across these cool Star Trek athletic hats.

The incredible folks over at ThinkGeek are selling these awesome Star Trek athletic hats for $24.99!  You have the choice of red, blue or gold and they are adjustable with a clip and pull tab in the back.

One of these hats is definitely going to be my next hat, I just can’t decide which one I want!  I’m debating between either red or blue.  If you get one of these hats, let me know in the comments below which color you go with!

This Star Trek Ring Boldly Goes Where No Ring Has Gone Before

When I see rings like the one below, it really makes me wish that I could stand to wear rings.  Anybody who knows me knows that I don’t like to have anything on my fingers.  It doesn’t feel comfortable for me and it just seems like it is getting in the way.  However, the main reason why I don’t wear any kind of ring and never will is because I have a fear that once I put it on, I will never be able to get it off.  I guess I have just seen too many people with rings that have had their fingers fatten up to the point that they couldn’t take the ring off if they wanted to and I don’t want to be one of those people.  But, just because I will never wear a ring, doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate cool ones when I see them and this Star Trek engagement ring is definitely one of the coolest ones I have seen!

This stunning Star Trek inspired ring was made by the very talented jewelry designer Paul Michael of Paul Michael Designs.  And, if you happen to be looking for that perfect ring to propose to that special Star Trek fan in your life, you are in luck because this ring is available for sale!

You can get this awesome Star Trek engagement ring over on Etsy for as little as $595.  Of course, depending on your choice of metal used and whether you want a diamond or topaz stone, it can go as high as $3,890.

If you decide to boldly go and propose with this awesome ring, send some pictures to us because we would love to share your story!

Awesome Star Trek: The Next Generation Fingernail Art

Its been quite a while since I have posted some cool fingernail art so when I was browsing reddit and came across this amazing Star Trek: The Next Generation fingernail art, I knew I had to post about it!  I’ve always preferred the Deep Space Nine uniforms but I think these actually look better as fingernail art than DS9 uniforms would.  However, I’d still like to see some DS9 fingernail art if anybody out there is up to the challenge.  But, until somebody does that, lets talk about this awesome TNG fingernail art!

This amazing Star Trek: The Next Generation uniform nail art was done by reddit user feelslikeawoman.  While I think she did a heck of a job with this nail art, I think I am most impressed by the fact that those are real nails rather than fake ones.  I think she must have hit the genetic fingernail lottery!  I can’t say that long nails are my thing but I can certainly appreciate how rare it is for somebody to be able to have natural nails that can get that long.

This Geordi La Forge VISOR Ring Would Look Great On Your Finger

I don’t watch Star Trek: The Next Generation as often as I should as at most I will watch 2 or 3 episodes a week when it is on BBC America on Saturday afternoons, but I still love the show (DS9 is my favorite) and Geordi La Forge is definitely one of my favorite characters.  Knowing how popular he is and how iconic his VISOR has become, I had a feeling you guys would flip out over this awesome Geordi La Forge VISOR ring I stumbled across yesterday.

Etsy seller eyephoriadesign is selling this fantastic TNG inspired Geordi La Forge VISOR ring for just $69.99!  The ring is made of sterling silver with 24K gold plated accents and apparently it is made using some sort of 3D printing technology.

However, if dollars isn’t how you want to pay, the seller also accepts Bitcoin and offers a 5% discount when paying with it.  Normally I probably wouldn’t mention something like that but this is the first time I have ever seen an Etsy seller accept Bitcoin as payment.

If you are looking for a new ring and you happen to be a big Star Trek: TNG fan, then this is the ring you have been looking for!

Star Trek: The Next Generation Uniform Robes

One of my favorite ways to spend a quiet evening at home is by laying in bed and watching some Star Trek (usually Deep Space Nine) and it is often the way I end my nights.  Nothing relaxes me quite as much as Star Trek.  Well, if you are like me and like to relax with some Star Trek, I think I have found an even more relaxing way for you to lounge around the house thanks to these awesome Star Trek: The Next Generation uniform robes.

The awesome Star Trek fans over at ThinkGeek have these cool Star Trek: The Next Generation uniform robes on sale for $49.99-$59.99 (Command is $60 and the others are $50 and that is an affiliate link so we get credit for referring you to them if you are awesome enough to buy one) which is 17% off of the normal price.  If you are a big TNG fan, these are the robes for you!

As much as I would love to wear this around this house, I really am more of a DS9 fan so I think I will hold out a while in hopes of a DS9 uniform robe before thinking about buying this one.

Star Trek Uniform Polo Shirts

I’ve always been one to only wear t-shirts unless I absolutely have to dress up and even then I don’t get any dressier than a polo shirt unless I am going to a funeral or wedding (both I usually try to avoid just because I don’t want to dress up) where dressing up is required.  I simply don’t feel comfortable in anything other than t-shirts and I really feel uncomfortable if I am not wearing something geeky whether it is a t-shirt or hat.  Luckily, I have a couple of Age of Empires polos to at least be partially comfortable when I have to wear something a little nicer but I have always wanted something Star Trek related and it looks like I have finally found it!

The awesome folks over at ThinkGeek are selling these awesome Star Trek: The Original Series uniform polo shirts for $34.99 – $36.99 (depending on the size).  Obviously, you can choose blue, red or gold but I would probably avoid the red as wearing a red uniform is pretty much a death wish.  Being more science oriented myself, I am leaning toward the blue, science officer uniform.

Also, if you use the links above or the source link below and buy one of the shirts, we get a small percentage of the sale as they are affiliate links so if you love what we do and want to support us, make sure to use those links to go buy one or all of the shirts!

Cool Star Trek Hats

For those that know me, they know that I never leave home without a hat on.  It is almost always some sort of geeky baseball cap like the God of War hat I am currently wearing.  However, I’ve been wearing this hat most of the year and it is getting rather faded and nasty looking so I am in the market for a new hat and I stumbled across these awesome Star Trek hats that I figured I would share with you guys.

The incredible folks over at ThinkGeek are selling these awesome Star Trek hats for just $24.99 each.  You can choose between command, science and engineering, so whichever you love most is what you should get!  Also, for those seeing this today (August 12, 2013), you can save 14% on your order of $19.99 or more with the coupon code ‘EDGEPEEL’.  That coupon is only valid today since today is ThinkGeek’s 14th birthday so if you don’t use it today, you are out of luck.

Personally, I think I am going to go with the science cap since I am a huge science geek.  Let me know which one you are getting in the comments below!

An Impressive Star Trek Back Tattoo

Around a half dozen years ago or so, I was at a local sci-fi convention (which I attend almost every year) when I saw an extremely well done pair of Star Trek tattoos on a women that was walking around the convention.  On one side of her back she had Spock and the other she had Captain Picard.  That was the first time in my life that I ever really liked a tattoo because until then, I didn’t know they could look so nice.  I guess the tattoo artists where I live just suck but ever since then, I have enjoyed seeing pictures of really well done, geeky tattoos.

Speaking of well done Star Trek tattoos, I came across this very impressive Star Trek tattoo while browsing the Star Trek section on Reddit the other day and I thought I should share it.

I’m not sure who this person is or who the artist was that did the work (if you know who they are, let me know in the comments below so I can give them credit), but I am impressed!  It is not every day you see a giant Star Trek tattoo on somebody’s back featuring Spock, Kirk, Picard and Data.

As much as I love Star Trek, this would never be something I would do.  However, if I lost my mind and decided to do something like this, I would probably go with the cast of DS9 on my back since that is my favorite Star Trek.
