Like many Batman fans, I grew up watching the Batman tv show from this 60s (I’m not that old, I just watched the reruns that were still playing over 20 years later) and of all of the characters on the show, I think the Riddler was perhaps my favorite. While I have never got into the Batman comic books, there are many people that have and have a love for the Riddler from there. And apparently one of those people also happens to be pretty talented when it comes to amazing eye makeup designs too!
DeviantART user KikiMJ created this phenomenal created this amazing Riddler eye makeup based on the DC comic book character. I’d say she did quite a spectacular job! If you like this, I’d suggest checking out her DeviantART account as she has a ton of other amazing eye makeup art and some rather creepy looking zombie makeup jobs.
It feels appropriate to end this post with a classic Riddler riddle from the 60s Batman tv show for you guys to answer in the comments. Don’t cheat and look it up, try to figure it out!
Riddle: What is it that’s always coming but never arrives?
In acknowledgement of Internet Rule #63, “For every given male character, there is a female version of that character; conversely for every given female character, there is a male version of that character,” I thought it seemed appropriate to post this bloody yet sexy female Captain America cosplay.
This female Captain America cosplay is being modeled by Alison Brie. Apparently this cosplay is being called Miss America which seems fitting but slightly confusing considering the beauty pageant of the same name. Anyway, I’d say this female Captain America cosplay is pretty hot, even if she is bloodied up and looks like she has just been through one heck of a fight.
While the internet seems to be obsessed with Poison Ivy cosplay lately (such as the steampunk Poison Ivy cosplay I posted last week), I thought it would be fun to post some super sexy Batgirl cosplay instead! And of course there is no sexier way to do Batgirl cosplay than with body paint!
Model / cosplayer Amber Deville is the sexy woman sporting this fantastic Batgirl cosplay. From the looks of it, other than the boots, cape, mask, ect., I am pretty sure the rest of the “costume” is body paint which looks pretty darn good!
The pictures were taken by photographer Ben Britt who I would say did a pretty good job even though the backgrounds are pretty obviously photoshopped in.
When most people think of Iron Man, they think about the seemingly indestructible suit of armor. Well, I think it is time to get that image out of your head and think about an Iron Man cocktail dress instead! It might not be as practical in a fight, but probably score you some drinks at the bar from fellow Iron Man lovers.
This Iron Man cocktail dress was originally designed by Kelsey Michelle, but it was DeviantART user Spwinkles that took the initiative to actually make the dress.
I’d say the dress turned out amazing! I love how even the heels are Iron Man themed. This is definitely a cool twist on Iron Man cosplay and I hope more great cosplay ideas get turned into cocktail dresses in the future because this is amazing!
For those that are huge fans of the Avengers and the movie Thor, I figured you would enjoy this cool female Loki cosplay. I’m not sure where these pictures were taken, but I know I would probably freak out if I was just walking along and saw Loki out and about.
This great Loki cosplayer is some awesome woman by the name of Rosemary. I like how she appears to be forcing some guy to kneel to her in the second picture. As cool as the Loki cosplay is in this picture, I don’t think I can recall Loki ever wearing heels in the movies. At least they seem to go with the costume pretty well!
Although I occasionally come across some body paint that is very well done, I am generally not a huge fan of it compared to actual clothes. I suppose some guys like it because you are basically looking at a naked lady but with the paint covering everything up, it just doesn’t do it for me. However, this is one of those times when the body paint is beyond amazing!
This spectacular Harley Quinn body paint is being sported by Abby Tymchakers for Joey D’s (the photographer) upcoming 2013 body paint calender. I’ve never considered buying a body paint calender before but this Harley Quinn body paint (done by Allyson Averell) is so good that I might just buy one!
When I hear that the calender has gone on sale, I will update this post for anybody interested in buying one.
When it comes to cosplay, you almost never see comparison pictures of the cosplay next to the original. Well, you do in this case and it makes this Mary Jane cosplay ever cooler!
Stacy of Gotham is the awesome cosplayer striking the pose in this impressive Mary Jane cosplay picture.
Since this is a rare occasion where the cosplay picture is compared to the original, how about we play a little game? Lets see who can list the most number of differences between the pictures in the comments below! I will get you started with two differences that are pretty obvious, the lack of the table in the cosplay picture and the position of her left foot is different compared to the original. Now your turn!
When it comes to Batgirl cosplay, I have seen some pretty impressive pictures, but none quite as impressive as this spectacular Batgirl cosplay! Seriously, she looks like she just walked off of a movie set!
Cosplayer Alexia Jean Grey is the redhead sporting this incredible Batgirl cosplay for Adam Jay from Superhero Photography. I definitely wouldn’t mess with this Batgirl, it looks like she could seriously kick my butt!
While I may be more of a fan of the Batgirl from the 60s Batman TV show, there is no way I can deny that this looks better than the 60s Batgirl ever did. Great job to both Alexia and Adam on the costume and these pictures!
It seems everybody is wanting to get into the Iron Man lookalike game these days including R2-D2. However, while most cosplayers seem to want to replicate the Iron Man armor down to the smallest detail, Evil Brainmate decided to go in another direction and make this awesome Iron Man dress!
Apparently this dress was worn at the Denver Comic Con this past weekend (being the idiot I am, I decided not to go when Wil Wheaton dropped out) and I suspect it turned a few heads. I’d say the dress turned out pretty well, and for those wondering, yes, the arc reactor does light up!
