Two great shirts just $11 today, Super Mario vs Bioshock

Other than trying to catch the old Bob Ross painting show on PBS on Saturday mornings, I can’t say I pay a tremendous amount of attention to paintings.  However, I have always been a fan of Van Gogh and especially his Starry Night painting which is even the wallpaper for some of my devices like my iPod Touch.  When  you combine that with my love for Super Mario, its safe to say you have come up with a t-shirt design that I can’t pass up!

The fantastic people over at TeeFury are doing one of their twofury sales today where they put to shirts against each other to see which one sells more.  Todays competitors are Super Starry Night by Naolito and I’ll Always Protect You by Logan Feliciano, both of which you can get for $11 today only!  Whether you love Super Mario Bros, Bioshock or both, I suspect you will want at least one of these cool shirts (designs below)!

Don’t forget, even if you aren’t a big fan the colors of these shirts, they do have other options to choose from.  Speaking for myself, I am definitely getting the Mario shirt but I am torn between the shirt being black (I already have a hundred or so black shirts) or the navy blue which I like just as much.

Amazing Exploding TARDIS Heels

For all of the Doctor Who fans with a love for high heels, I think I may have found the heels you have been looking for!  Nothing says I love Doctor Who quite like a pair of exploding TARDIS heels!

In the past, I have posted a ton of awesome and super geeky heels ranging from some swarovski crystal encrusted Batman heels to some amazing Super Mario Bros high heeled shoes but I think these Doctor Who inspired exploding TARDIS shoes might be my all time favorite.

These custom glittery exploding TARDIS high heels come from the clearly awesome Made By Bunny.  Rather than selling these shoes, she does custom decorations on shoes you already own.  To make sure you already have the style and size of shoe you like, you send her shoes you already own and then she will make custom designs like this amazing pair of TARDIS heels for you.  I don’t know about other designs but at least in this case, having heels custom done like these TARDIS heels with glitter and rhinestones will cost you $150 (which seems reasonable considering how awesome these appear to have turned out).

That sounds like a much better idea to me than just buying shoes and hoping they fit right because I can’t even recall how many pairs of shoes I have tried on that should have fit fine based on the size but didn’t fit quite right or just didn’t feel good.

Doctor Who Exploding TARDIS Fingernail Art

We are just two days away from the big day!  No, I’m not talking about a when that fat guy in a red suit (who should really be a lot fatter than he is with all of those cookies he eats) to flies around leaving presents in exchange for Christmas cookies, I am talking about the Doctor Who Christmas special!  In just two days we will find out how the whole regeneration problem is solved, see the end of Matt Smith’s Doctor and the beginning of Peter Capaldi’s Doctor.

Well, to celebrate this upcoming event, I thought there is no better way than with some amazing exploding TARDIS fingernail art!

I’m not positive who did this incredible fingernail as it just crossed my Facebook feed with no credit to the creator (a major pet peeve of mine), but from the watermark, I would guess it was created by Adventures in Acetone.  Whoever created it did one heck of an amazing job!  I’ve posted some really cool Doctor Who fingernail art in the past but I think this blows it away!

Being a big Van Gogh fan, I loved the whole exploding TARDIS Van Gogh painting thing so I am especially in love with this fingernail art.  If I could have nails like this, I would even paint mine even though I am a guy!

Being both a fan of Vincent Van Gogh’s style of painting as well as Doctor Who, I love the painting of the exploding TARDIS from Doctor Who.

Well, now it seems you can get that design as a t-shirt thanks to the amazing folks over at ThinkGeek!  For the Doctor Who fans out there that love the exploding TARDIS painting, ThinkGeek is selling this Van Gogh TARDIS t-shirt for just $17.99 (up to $19.99 for larger sizes).  I need another Doctor Who shirt like I need another hole in my head (I’ve probably got at least a half dozen Doctor Who shirts already), but I think I need this shirt!
