Victorian Style Darth Vader Cosplay [pics]

Perhaps it is just me but it seems like Darth Vader is some of the most overdone cosplay out there these days.  I understand why everybody wants to dress up like Darth Vader and I have even done it myself but it feels like it has become so common that it isn’t special anymore.  However, there are rare exceptions like the one below where a great deal of originality went into the Darth Vader cosplay.

A cosplayer going by the name May B. created this really cool Victorian style Darth Vader cosplay.  Apparently the style was inspired by Victorian mourning gowns.  I think the combination of Darth Vader and a Victorian mourning gown actually goes together quite well although my favorite part is definitely the mask.

However, I am not sure if this could be considered a steampunk Darth Vader.  I know the steampunk style is a Victorian style but I’m not sure if this qualifies so if anybody knows or has an opinion, please leave it in the comments below!

Helvetica Font Swimsuit [pic]

I’ve seen some rather unique swimsuits in the past including the Nintendo Game Boy swimsuit I posted some time ago, but I would have never imagined that somebody would have made a swimsuit out of a font type.  Well, that is exactly what the folks at Black Milk Clothing (the same people that made the Game Boy swimsuit) have done!

For the font lovers out there who love Helvetica, you can get this awesome Helvetica font swimsuit from Black Milk Clothing for $90 AUD or $93.69.

Even if I was a woman, I’m not sure this would be my style, however I am not font obsessed like a number of people I know.
