Happy Star Wars Day! I hope you are finding some fun ways to celebrate perhaps the geekiest unofficial holiday of the year. As much as I would like to spend the day playing some Star Wars games or having a movie marathon, I’m stuck at work so the extent of my celebration this year is wearing my Star Wars / Legend of Zelda crossover t-shirt. However, speaking of wearing things, for those that like earrings, I think I have found some Star Wars earrings you are going to love!
The amazing people over at ThinkGeek currently have a 20% off sale on Star Wars stuff today since it is May 4th. One of the more fashionable things I thought you guys might enjoy picking up while it is 20% off are these really cool Star Wars logo earrings which are just $19.99! You can choose either the Imperial logo or the Rebel Alliance logo or better yet, pick up a set of both!
Speaking of ThinkGeek’s Star Wars sale, while there is no coupon code required to take advantage of the 20% off, if you spend more than $20 and use the coupon code ‘TENPACES’, you will get a really cool pin of Luke fighting Darth Vader. The pin is limited edition so make sure you take advantage of that while supplies last!
With the big Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special just a week and a half away, have you figured out how you are going to be celebrating yet? Are you going to see it in the theater or perhaps have a viewing party at home with friends? No matter where you see it, you should be as comfortable as possible and what better way to do that than in some fantastic Doctor Who pajamas pants?
The Doctor Who loving nerds over at ThinkGeek are selling these fantastic Doctor Who pajama pants for just $19.99 (this is an affiliate link so we get credit for referring you and a small commission which helps us keep the lights on so if you want to support us, do so by buying a pair)! You have your choice of either a TARDIS print on your pajama pants or the Doctor Who DW logo but I don’t think you can go wrong either way as both of them are cool!
They are available in a variety of sizes so hopefully they will fit pretty much every Whovian. If you are a Whovian or happen to be looking for a Christmas present for one, then you need to order these pajama pants! They also have a drawstring which I have always liked about any pajama pants I have ever worn.
Without a doubt, I have spent more time watching the various Star Trek shows than any other series. Rarely does a night go by when I don’t watch some Star Trek: Deep Space Nine before going to bed and my Saturday afternoons are usually spent watching Star Trek: The Next Generation. Well, if you are a huge Star Trek fan like I am, then you are definitely going to want this United Federation of Planets shirt I found!
I should note that the are out of stock on the sizes of small and medium but larger sizes are available. Also, XXL and larger cost a couple dollars extra although if that is the size of shirt you usually buy, I suspect you are used to their slightly higher cost by now as that seems pretty standard.
The last person to have any kind of facial hair that was identifiable with just one person was Hitler. Well, now we have this guy with a way cooler mustache that Hitler could have ever hoped for. Meet the man with the Bat-stache!
I was on Reddit last night (where I spend most of my free time these days) when I saw a post from Captain_Auburn_Beard showing off his amazing facial hair sculpted to look like the Batman logo. This is easily the coolest facial hair of all time! Actually, I have been letting my facial hair grow a bit lately so maybe when I am ready to shave it in the next couple days, I will see if I can give myself a Bat-stache too!
