Stormtrooper Support Our Troops Shirt

Where I live, it is pretty much impossible to find somebody that doesn’t support our military.  With all of the military bases we have in Colorado, the military has a huge impact on our local economy and you will have a hard time finding somebody who doesn’t know somebody who is serving in the military so support for the troops is a big deal around here.  While ‘Support our troops’ bumper stickers are quite common, nobody ever thinks to support the Stormtroopers.  Since I think they need a little more support (perhaps it would improve their aim), I decided to post this cool t-shirt.

The awesome nerdy folks over at BustedTees are selling this Star Wars inspired Stormtrooper support our troops t-shirt for just $20.  Even if you aren’t the type that goes to conventions dressed as a Stormtrooper, the least you can do is wear this shirt to show your support for those that do!

Remember, even if a shirt like this isn’t your think (perhaps you are a bigger Star Trek fan than you are of Star Wars), I’d bet there is somebody in your life that would love a shirt like this so give it some thought when you are looking for a gift for them!

These Star Wars Wedge Shoes Are Amazing!

Maybe its just a guy thing but I don’t think I will ever understand why women like wearing wedge shoes or high heel shoes.  They just look ridiculously uncomfortable and frankly, I find it to be a bit deceptive.  They make you look taller than you really are and your butt look better than it really is and I find that to be a bit deceitful.  Maybe I’m the only guy that feels that way but I like women who are comfortable with who they are and not who they wish they were.  Anyway, enough of my rant.

If you are the wedge shoe wearing type and a big Star Wars fan, I think I have found the shoes for you!

Etsy seller DeckoFab is selling these one-of-a-kind Star Wars themed wedge shoes for just $115!  Apparently they also take custom orders as well that are decoupaged using your favorite comics, magazines, pictures or fabric.

I wish there were tennis shoes that looked like this because I would be all over them!  To each their own I suppose.

Boba Fett Purse [pic]

Considering how overloaded I tend to keep my pockets with everything that I need ranging from my wallet to MP3 players and portable gaming devices, I have never really seen the purpose of carrying around a purse.  However, if all purses were this cool, I could understand why so many women carry them.

This amazing Boba Fett purse was created by Catherine Penfold-Waxman.  Unfortunately, this purse doesn’t seem to be for sale in her Etsy store at this time although she is selling a number of awesome Doctor Who themed purses.

Female 11th Doctor and TARDIS Cosplay [pic]

Matt Smith might not be my favorite Doctor (David Tennant is) but it amazes me how he was able to turn the fez into this Doctor Who icon even though I believe it was only in one episode.  Anyway, DeviantART user janey-jane (The girl in the TARDIS dress) is apparently a big Doctor Who fan and decided to make these awesome 11th Doctor and TARDIS costumes for a sci-fi convention back in November.  It might sound kind of strange, but I think this is the first time I have ever found the TARDIS to be sexy.

R2-D2 and Darth Vader Custom Star Wars Aprons [pics]

The more I watch various food related shows in tv, the more I want to start cooking.  However, before I start trying to cook random recipes, I should probably get me a geeky cooking apron.  Well, it seems I am in luck because Etsy seller HauteMessThreads has a couple of awesome custom Star Wars themed cooking aprons that are pretty great.  Depending on your preference, the R2-D2 cooking apron will set you back $70 while the Darth Vader cooking apron costs only $55.  I’d probably go with the Darth Vader one so I can wear my Darth Vader helmet while cooking and not look goofy.

Lady Punisher with Stormtroopers Cosplay [pic]

Here is one of those rather odd cosplay combinations where a girl dressed up as the Punisher is posing with a Star Wars scout trooper and a snowtrooper.  I’m not sure where this awesome photo was taken but Vampy (Punisher) apparently ran into some of her 501st Legion friends and decided to pose for a picture with them.  Having attended many sci-fi conventions in the past, it never ceases to amaze me how many people want their picture taken with people dressed as various types of stormtroopers.
